I have three coats, but I've never worn any of them. I'm usually out in a short sleeved top and put on a cardigan if it gets chilly. When I'm doing my weekly shop, I often get asked "Aren't you cold?" by people wearing cats, scarves and gloves..
Some of us just don't feel the cold, and Eva's not going far is she between home and the factory or home and the pub. ![]() (sorry Janet! )

Was that a bed that Maria and Liam were sleeping in next to the cooker, and why were they sleeping there instead of the bedroom?
![]() Another thing why was Eva out wearing a short sleeve dress and no coat with her in Dec? As for Billy , who has gone from being a vicar to a silly, grinning idiot bouncing around the Rovers asking anyone who comes in to go clubbing, Corrie just gets dafter and dafter. ![]() |

Is he officially working in Roys Rolls now or did I dream that scene?
Anyone seems to be able to do a shift there these days. The interview must just be "are you human" and you're in

I don't think Roy is even that particular, otherwise how did Anna get to work there as she doesn't fit into the 'human' category.

Maria talking about being locked up for a "long time" on the fake marriage thing. I'd be very surprised if she got prison time at all for that. Probably probation, fine, or community service or a combination of those. I'm not condoning what she did, but a stint in prison for it? I don't see it. Same with Beth and the bigamy thing. Prisons are apparently overcrowded these days, I can't see Maria or Beth taking space in there for what they've done. Caz, on the other hand, needs to go away for a long time, she's dangerous.

They seem to have dropped the Beth bigamy storyline. I presume it was to split her and Kirky up, but they are back together again.

Forgotten SLs
There are so many threads left dangling or storylines never having a proper conclusion I wonder if the writers truly forget or they have no clue where to take things ... not that this normally stops them forging ahead. Several characters have left the programme without a resolution to whatever they were involved in.
The Michael/Gavin/Andy thing was never openly discussed and resolved between the characters, it was simply buried with everyone carrying on as 'normal' and seemed to be there only as a reason to split him and Gail up before they inexplicably got back together after a hasty 10 minute scene 6 months or so later. Going back a while it was the same with Liz/Carla/Tony/Tracy betrayal & buying the Rovers. That just ended in total confusion with nobody really knowing who is the current landlord. (Is it Liz, Steve or Meemeeshell?) and no real satisfying showdown between Tracy/Tony/Liz. All the falsely accused murderers and actual murderers just have their characters & personalities rewritten and everyone else is given mind altering drugs to forget anything ever happened. I'm sure the flats no build will never be mentioned again. Health issues or accidents are cured within a couple of weeks with no reference to them again. Births, marriages and deaths are usually crammed into 2 episodes of frantic and unrealistic drama before disappearing the next week into complete oblivion. I agree with everyone's comments on the lovely, touching and humourous scenes of well written dialogue during the tribute to Jean Alexander. NOTHING today comes anywhere close to this. |

During this time he was still not talking to Gail. |

Beth did go to court for the bigamy, she got community service, you saw her do one stint, when daft Mary went and covered for her so Beth could go to court and support Craig when he was a witness to Kylies murder. She may have got a fine as well but not sure. As regards her and Kirk there has been no mention of them actually getting married

Perhaps things get so easily forgotten because they are not credible or just plain stupid. But the number of posters pointing out all the non-credible nonsense puts paid to that theory. The programme takes its viewers for granted and the stuff they feed to them is almost treating them with disdain. |

The telly was heavy??
Have any of the Corrie writers ever seen a flat screen? They weigh bugger all! Tim wouldn't have needed Craig's help to get it home. |

Didn't know that there was another door in the office at the factory so that Maria could leave by the back!
And that Eva. Could her fussing over Maria be any more annoying and obvious? Gary. As soon as he found out that Luke had been seen with Bethany who didn't guess that he would grab him and try and thump him? Couldn't he haven't just asked what happened? |
