Why have you put this link? As I have said in previous posts I know they had a wedding but they are NOT legally married because Beth is a bigamist!!

Will there be a 2016 SOR competition? No guesses as to which one would top the poll.

I'd like to know where Norris bought his Vim. I had a new kitchen put in recently with a Belfast sink but I cannot find Vim anywhere. Vim, as I remember, is abrasive which deals better with a porcelain sink, ordinary cleaners don't clean properly without a load of elbow grease. Maybe Norris has a secret stash?

Prisons are apparently overcrowded these days, I can't see Maria or Beth taking space in there for what they've done. Caz, on the other hand, needs to go away for a long time, she's dangerous.”

Maria could simply have fibbed her way out of it and told the police he conned her into marrying him. Apparently the two of them were friends and she did it as a favour to him and no money changed hands. The cops would have no way of knowing what the true nature of the relationship was and the fact that he was gay wouldn't be a problem : she could say he tricked her into marriage so that he could move to the UK to be with his boyfriend.

Try Googling 'Vim Cleaner' it will then show quite a few places that stock it including the likes of Robert Dyas and Amazon as well as many others.

Same here. The only slightly abrasive cleaner is Cif and that's nowhere near good enough.

Perhaps, just perhaps, the actor playing Ken Barlow will remember to either speak normally, whisper, talk in a hoarse voice or talk out of one side of his mouth. He did all of those last night.

It's not asking much for him, with all of those years "experience" to try and maintain at least a slight illusion of realism. Or is it?

I'm a few days behind so playing catch up.

I was mildly irritated (understatement) to see Gary/Faye/Bethany & eventually Sarah in the cafe after returning from their Leeds overnighter. Faye was bemoaning the fact they checked out before 11am from their super posh looking hotel without eating breakfast only to all go to Roys Rolls where it seemed half the Street were having breakfast.

We use Ajax (same thing) and get it from Home Bargains.

Yep, tried that. Never heard of Robert Dyas. Wilco stock it apparently, but blank looks when I asked them in my local store, Anyway, many thanks to all who answered
Diamonddogs, thanks I'll try home bargains, they are a bit out of the way (about ten miles) but I'll have an away day!

I don't know why Gary doesn't realise that he is the 'older man' in question. I'm sure he is aware that Bethany has a crush on him

I just checked the cupboard and we have Vim and Ajax.

Make sure you take lots of money with you - it's a great shop! Do you have a B&M a bit nearer? The sell the same sort of stuff.

I was a bit concerned at the lack of professionalism on display at the GP surgery last night, when shifty Andy Not Gavin was in with the doctor.

So, the doctor's son wanted to speak to her about something tenuous, and firstly the receptionist knocks on the door to tell her, rather than waiting for a gap between patients, and then the doctor swans off leaving ANG in the room on his own, rather than waiting for a gap between patients

(welcome back rolly eyes smiley! Nice to see it uses the same code as the old days, so old posts will be retrospectively back-populated!)

I know and one minute she's peeling carrots then the next someone was saying "We're going to sit down in a minute"

It really wouldn't have hurt for them to have the dinner cooking already before people actually turned up, much more believable..

Yes, didn't Sarah practically warn him off at one point for getting too close to her?

Its so stupid. You could understand it if Bethany was 12 with a schoolgirl crush but the way she was in the hotel room with him and asking him to "zip her up" means he would have to be blind or stupid not to realise.
