How many times are we going to have the rinse repeat scenes with Billy and Todd. Billy keeps going on about returning to the church, Todd isn't pleased as he won't get to spend time with his boyfriend whilst making slight digs at Billy's beliefs, which Billy doesn't seem too bothered about.

All this after Billy's wallowing about the church not accepting him and Todd.

Is Todd going to bother looking for employment or just continue (presumably) rent free at Eileen's?

I just find Billy mentally exhausting to watch, grinning like some Aardman creation. Todd could do so much better.

Just sat a watched four episodes back to back and made the following observations:

Christmas day episode opened with choir singing Last Christmas - very poignant (but obviously not planned) in the light of news of George Michael's sad death

Nick was pushing the new buggy and confused his left and right hand!

Nathan followed Billy and Shona from church but he was already waiting by the phone box when they arrived round the corner by Dev's shop!

Three new blokes (Jude, Nathan and Toby) all very similar and had me confused at times!

I think Steve has got it. She worked at the yard. Then went back to the cab office where they teased her by making her have an interview. Then she left again to become buyer/designer for the non development. Then she just appeared back at Streetcars with no interview or discussion. It's the latter bit I was referring to.

That was bl@@dy laughable when Billy found the woman in the church cupboard supping the communion wine and in the next scene they were both chatting and swigging it away.

Would an ex-vicar who wanted to become a vicar again really stand there and chat and whilst swigging the communion wine from a chalice? Unbelievable and surely sacrilege? Who writes this crap?
