where as in reality the crb would bar her indefinitely from working with children

Somebody should tell the writers that cleaners work very early in the morning or very late at night. Carla should be the only person to set eyes on Jenny....when opening up and closing the factory.

It's fair enough that you can't be bothered but why make the original comment "none of the usual SOR posters ... " if you can't be bothered to check?

It sometimes seems that you're more interested in sniping at those who enjoy this thread.

I don't really want to think about what "extras on the side" Fiz would be offering....could do without that mental image, thank you!

I'm sure I read a spoiler that said
Spoiler
a friend of Alya's gets a job at the medical centre soon.

Good point. When the place was on fire, no one could get in to rescue Carla because of the key code.”

But it isn't Fiz Sally has the issue with at the moment is it? Plus Fiz wasn't even in work that day, unless she managed to sneak in without them looking.

What CRB? What crime was she found guilty of?

Do they? There are lots of factories where cleaners work during the day. They normally do offices in the evening.
I owned a cleaning company and we had several operatives onsite at various factories/warehouses during the day during the day, and they werent industrial cleaners

I was about to say the same. Frequently my posts get an immediate response.

Fiz hasn't got a lot of imagination n when it comes to packed lunch - meat paste sandwiches. Maybe not to everyone's taste, but, for instance, I'd make a sausage pie, a Cornish-style pasty or a pizza for tea and then give him a slice of that cold next day for lunch. Got to be more interesting that a meat paste sandwich.

Yep !

Jenny's only there throughout the day so she can interact, to her disadvantage, with the other factory employees.

True, with with Sean, Kirk, Fiz, Beth & Sinead all working in the factory to a combined mental age of no more than 30, there's no way she'd be allowed to work there.

Meat paste is but an unpretentious pâté - if it tastes good, eat it!

Yeah, the factory is more like a daycare for toddlers. Even then toddlers have far more intelligence than that lot.

of course no one suggesting that cleaners never work through the day- but it's unrealistic from a manpower/wage budget point of view that a cleaner would be there ALL day from 8 am til at least til after lunuch time in such small premises.

it's hardly sprawling corporate premises.

Ahh, that other favourite soap cliche where families struggling for cash suddenly have to make do with horrible, inedible food.
You can buy plenty of decent food on the cheap, doesn't mean you have to resort to meat paste.
I expect Fiz will be dishing up gruel next for breakfast!

Why does Ty have to stay in the garage for lunch anyway? He only lives across the road, he could nip home for his sandwiches.
