You are right about Ken he should have taken his superior self off and left Deirdre to find a less judgemental snob. Have to say though fancy both women deciding to serve soup and the same kind! Who's a thunk it?!”

Thanks all, yes I remember now it was leek and potato soup. Must have been the wine fuzzing my mind, which may be the best way to watch Corrie these days.

Last night was such a Zzzz-fest that I may have missed it. I know that Norris let Emily send Spider an email, but when Emily went to Norris asking for his password, how exactly did she know about Spider working in Peru at that point if she couldn't log on? Did he call her or did he send a message via telepathy?

Took me a bit of googling and trying various searches to come up with the spelling. Apparently is much more luxurious and softer than cashmere and comes from the musk ox - the word "ox" might put Sally off, but I doubt it. The price would definitely put Tim off:

One ball of 3-ply for hand knitting is the equivalent of £30

A woven scarf is around £170 or even more.”

Worth every penny though, because it washes at high temperatures.

One of the biggest SOR's we are about to have is someone working on the Street and not actually living on the Street. I assume that Robert has now moved out, so where is he going to stat.

As well all know if you work in street you MUST live on street

He probably has a sleeping bag on Maxine's bench. My guess is that he will be staying at Leanne's before long.

I cant understand why Ken likes him so much. He is controlling and disrespectful to his daughter and most fathers would want to give him a thump, not invite him to stay.
Come to that, what does Tracey see in him? i suppose he is slightly better than a murderer, but still...

Not true actually. All who live on the street work on the street - but as for the other way around then there are a number of people who work on the street (or its adjacent ones on the set) but don't live there. You've got, as well as Audrey, the mute background workers in the factory, presumably a few doctors and receptionists at the medical centre, various waiters and chefs at the Bistro, unspecified gym staff, whoever runs the chippy these days...

Surely there's got to be more to it than that?!”

Why would it be any of Emily's business what Norris' password was? He is quite obliged to not divulge his password as that is what is recommended to keep your information safe. Were we meant to be on Emily's side over Norris' refusal to give it to her?

You have just solved the mystery of the Qiviut scarf. I was wondering what could be more expensive than cashmere?.

I will stick to cashmere since I did rather well this year. A cardigan, a jumper and a scarf.

I haven't played it recently, but could "Qiviut" be a good word for scrabble?

Sssshhhhh!

Or we'll have pretentious Ken organising a Corrie Scrabble contest.

And Tim will probably win!

A family member thinks Robert is good looking. I tend to think he has a passing resemblance to Davros!

You do realise we are in trouble with the 'We think he's gorgeous/very attractive brigade.'

Watch out for Rich Tea's relative!

Spock and Shirley Carter must be his brother and sister! Davros is probably the daddy!

Anyway, with those relatives, he's clearly other from another planet!

You never see Corrie residents returning from a supermarket with "bags-for-life" stuffed with groceries. Shopping to Coronation Street folk doesn't extend beyond a trip down to Dev's for a bottle of milk.

We used to on a regular basis when everybody shopped at Freshco.
