Yes, the clue is in the word LOCKer I would have thought.

Agreed. Why the hell was noone called to rearrange their appointments? Four women waiting would take HOURS to get through. I hope they all weren't waiting on a blue rinse! It's not as though Audrey fell ill that morning and they were just winging it til reinforcement arrived. And it's not like they were all one off customers with no contact details (like that one that sneaked out without paying a month or two ago) since David greeted them all by name. I don't see why Kylie wasn't there helping with washing hair or helping prep/cleanup. Max would have been at school and Lily could have been given to the invisible Jack Webster babysitter who is happy to help day or night (or could have been sat in the back office occupied for a wee while)

There doesn't seem to be enough lockers for all the staff either. You don't think they've just found some random lockers and plonked them there as a plot device do you? We'll never see them again... *flicks a lighter open and waves it slowly in the air*

There are far too many coincidences/contrived nonsense happening lately.........if Corrie were a statistics paper, we'd all be getting full marks.

1. Jenny returns to the street. What is the chance that she would be seen by a Webster first?

2. Jenny needs a job. Rita is a well-loved member of Coronation Street. What is the likelihood that Jenny finds employment on the street within a week?

4. Jenny joins Underworld. Items go missing at Underworld. What is the likelihood that Jenny is behind this?

5. Jack spots Jenny. He waves to her. He goes missing, causing Kevin to panic. What is the chance that Jenny has any information on Jack's disappearance.

6. Marta is cold. She needs a coat. On the same day, Sean arrives to work with a new coat. What is the likelihood that Marta takes his coat, as opposed to the other workers?

I could forgive some of these because at the end of the day it's just a soap. But the writing could be a lot more imaginative....

What -- Carla necking a glass of red and dropping her bottle on the rug, causing the contents to soak through. Shock, horror!!

Re, the locker nonsense, it seems the Polish girl can take things from behind.

That's true, though you would think at least one out of Leanne and Zeedan would have their own car

Marouane Fellaini a Manchester United footballer noted for his somewhat 'robust' style against his opponents and for leaning over them and either having a word or gobbing on them depending on who you believe. A nasty piece of work either way.

When Beth was having her hair done in the salon she says that whatever David was applying to her hair felt different indicating some form of irritation yet the full allergic reaction didn't happen until much later when she was in the bistro normally allergic reactions like that would happen much quicker almost instantaneously so the rash would have appeared more or less straight away after she felt it in the salon.

I read an interview at the weekend with the girl that plays Eva, and it mentioned a scene where the Polish girl sneaked into the van at the party and we saw her jumping out when they got back to the factory. The scene must have never been shown. It would explain why they needed to show Eva and Aidan going to the party in the van and not a car in the first place. More poor continuity.

Thanks for those replies. They confirm I''d never heard of him.

It's difficult to keep track of what happens on what day, but wasn't that after the first thefts were discovered? Not that that would worry the writers.

Why is Jenny spending virtually the whole day cleaning the factory on what I take to be the minimum wage and then is so flush with cash that she can drink wine, at restaurant prices, in the local Bistro in the evening?

Especially since she obviously doesn't clean the factory that well otherwise she would have found the woman hiding there before Eva did.

There was a time when the factory girls used to wait outside for MRs Connor to arrive to let them in. Now, to suit the plot the factory is open even before the bosses arrive!

Those lockers are practically next to the machines. They are certainly in the same room, so how come no one noticed a stranger stealing Sean's coat? Lockers were used when Becky or someone was accused of stealing from them. Now we have another locker story, so we have shiny new lockers! And the factory was so different last night with the door at the back open. Has there always been a door there and where did it lead to?

It would be nice, as a bit of a nod to the diehard, long term audience and for the sake of some continuity background/history, that this can't be mentioned in a conversation between Sally/Gail/Rita, who must remember the fact and could point it out with much finger wagging over a glass of white wine in t'Rovers.

That scene was bloody awful. Over a mouse? Seriously? Plus it looked like the director has shouted 'action' when they weren't expecting it, but I suppose most scenes were half hearted or phoned in these days

Ooohhhhh I'd love someone to bring Sally back to earth with a great big bang, reminding her of her own mistakes...

My 16 year old son happened to be downstairs when the first episode was on last night (he is usually glued to his xbox). It was the first time he had seen a Corrie for at least 2 years and even he commented about the woeful story lines and wooden acting. Especially the football scene which was quite frankly pathetic.

Had to laugh at Jenny cleaning the door half way through the working day, amazing how this cleaning position sprung up from nowhere. Usually a factory of this size would use a cleaning company as there would surely only be an hours work tops per day.

Also the queue of grannies waiting in line for their hair to be done, surely if you were third of fourth in line you would not bother waiting and rearrange another time instead of waiting 3-4 hours to be seen.

I was going to say another ill thought out storyline, but it's not even ill thought out as it appears no thought at all went into it.
