They haven't even solved the successful bistro robbery, when notGavin stole from the bistro, causing an insurance fraud and a waste of police time. And dragged steph in as an accomplice.

Either that or a parent. Which could be a problem, since one's dead and the other obviously has no interest in him.

Where does Izzy live these days? Or, if the answer's different, where does she call 'home'?

There's no reason why she should live anywhere near the street, since she first appeared after being on a dating site. But that was quite an awkward roll of material she was taking 'home'.

(Mind, when Michael was looking around the world for his son, he turned out to be living about three streets away).

talking of michael why out of all the 'celebrity actors' they've had on corry have the only given Les Dennis a proper role to play rather than the usual hire 'em fire 'em just to get the viewer in

Sorry! I was waiting for Steph to have a melt-down with Luke and Andy. Or maybe she has! Anyway, it just seemed to fizzle out.

Izzy lives at 28 Grayling Street in a bungalow adapted for her disability:

They are both such grubby looking women anyway with their greasy hair hanging all over their faces and the food. Yuk.

Shouldn't they have their hair tied back off their faces when they are working in the cafe?”

I'd like to see the pair of them in hairnets

Why is Michelle serving those Hotpots with carrots on the side

Tonight's Corrie.

Todd just happened to be in the pub doing nothing and what does he overhear? Michelle and Carla are going to a Wedding Fayre and staying in a 5* hotel. Guess who else is going to the Wedding Fayre?

Nick, David, Kylie and Audrey are assembled in the bistro. Guess who comes in and overhears the truth about her rash. And then within seconds Kylie and Beth are fighting. How classy.

The cops and Simon. It didn't look as if Leanne was going with him. Until Ken turned up it looked as if they were taking him without a parent or adult. Would they really have dragged him off, bundled him into a cop car and driven off without an adult?

Now Izzy has her pain problems why does she keep bumping into Erica?

And that's only the first ep!

Thanks; is that far away?

I've forgotten how Owen first appeared in the Street, but was it a coincidence that his daughter lived close by?

That's exactly what I thought, if Ken hadn't have appeared at that particular moment it was looking as though Simon was going to be on his own

That's exactly what would happen.

What do you think would happen if he was arrested out on his own for shoplifting, burglary or assault? Would they ring a parent to ask him nicely to get in the car?

Children are arrested, and if a parent (or other appropriate adult put forward by the family) cannot be with the child, they will telephone Social Services to provide an appropriate adult for the interview.

Leanne could not accompany him for the interview, because she had reported the offences and is the victim of some of the alleged offences. I thought it was fairly clear, if unsaid, that she had also talked to the police about Simon's assaults on her.

The Izzy/Erica situation is so forced it is unreal.

These two have never even spoken before a few days back, yet now Erica is buying Izzy drugs to ease her pain.

All the years Izzy has been in CS she has hardly ever mentioned her pain (even when she was mugged) yet all of a sudden she needs marijuana to get through the day.

Totally ridiculous.

It made me laugh when izzy was banging on about being a mother and mothers should not be doing drugs, then the next scene she was in the pub get pissed lol
As if being on the lash her every spare minute is better than having a spliff a day to keep the pain away
she is a crap mother any way with or without drugs like every other person on the street she has never got the kid

Whats the betting this time next week Izzy will look and act like she has been on crack for 10 years rather than had a couple of spliffs?
She will have lost her job, Jake will be in foster care and she will be totally ostracised by the whole community as "that dirty druggie".
A week after that, she will have pulled herself together and be back to her old self, social services will rock up and say "well done, heres jake", she will have her job back and its never mentioned again?

Sounds about right. In fact I'd say you were pretty spot on.

And of course we have them always bumping into each other. While Erica is hanging outside the shop who happens to be whizzing own the street? Or when Izzy enters the cafe in discomfort, who happens to be sitting at the table nearby?

The Izzy and Erica conversation about getting marijuana was so contrived.

Erica: Isn't there something else you can take?
Izzy: Oh, well... there is marijuana....
Erica: What a coincidence! I can get you some, no problem!

And there's no way Izzy should be drinking either if she's taking such powerful medication. I take medication for chronic pain too and this Christmas just gone, I drank a bit to join in with the celebrations and the alcohol interfered with how the medication worked and made my symptoms worse.

And what will Gary and Anna's view be on the matter?
