Bulging battery
Hi, I hope someone can give me some advice.
I have a Motorola Milestone phone and noticed this morning that the battery was starting to bulge out putting pressure on the casing I have removed the battery and it is swollen a little on one side Is this the end of my phone or would a simple replacement battery do the trick Any help much appreciated |

Replacement battery should be fine, but dispose of that battery ASAP, it sounds very unstable!

You can probably find a replacement third party battery for under a tenner. But with a phone that old, it might be worth considering a new replacement. If the keyboard is really important to you, you can get cases with built in keyboards but sadly they are a bit fiddly and mostly pretty naff.

I would get shot of that battery asap, it's clearly not in a good way. A new battery would indeed sort it, one of my main grumbles about sealed phones is that you can't just swap a dud battery! A simple job requires major surgery.
