I wish you a Happy New Year, Jim, so I do, wherever you are. You're a fine figure of man, so you are.

I'd love The Landlord to make a reappearance now we're seeing Rob in the nick. When Jim was supplying Peter with booze before I thought it was the maddest, silliest SL, but compared to how tedious the show is now it seems pretty good.

I would love forJim to return to the Rovers. Return. The present people in there - Liz, Michelle, Sean and Sarah - are so dull. Perhaps it will become interesting again when Steve returns.

I would love Jim back. Now Tony has gone it's time to have a real strong male character on the show. It will be nearly five-years since Jim got sent down so maybe Corrie can work their way around it and release him early.

Why several producers haven't brought him back full time since his original exit, is beyond me. He's a Corrie legend so he is.

I used to fancy him when I was younger. He's since been filed away along with Peter Andre in my "WTF" mind draw.
