Eastenders: Does Vincent have some good in him ? Or is he total evil ?
I am asking this, as he was said to be this crazy villian who is so dangerous
Yet in the last few weeks, he has shown sympathy and tonight some guilt ....also he says he wants to live a clean life now Or is this all just an act , do you think ? |

Vincent is a faux-hardman. It's clear that he's out of his depth with all the stuff he's doing and that Claudette is the real mastermind.

I think the scene with Dot proved he isn't exactly evil.
Ok, he maybe didn't have the heart to tell her the truth but he did tell her something that would make her think he's okay and safe. If he was totally evil I don't think he'd have even went to see her. |

Vincent is nothing compared to Claudette. That woman is COLD. He wants to end the feud with the Mitchells as he's seen what damage has been caused. She wants to keep going and her words were filled with vengeance tonight.

Vincent isn't evil. He scared Charlie away on Ronnie's orders but never harmed him. he sent Fatboy away but never harmed him and was genuinely shocked that Fatboy died and showed some guilt unlike Claudette who was completely cold. He told both Dot and Ronnie a white lie and covered the truth so as not to cause more pain. He may have attempted to kill Phil but that was on the spur of the moment after Claudette instilled in him a hatred of Phil telling him (truthfully or otherwise) that Eric Mitchell killed his dad.

Clearly some people need to look up the word evil. Vincent isn`t evil. his mother could be though.

No he isn't evil. They built him up to be but he's just a silly little boy that has got himself in too deep. It was actually nice to see him show a bit of emotion last night. For a split second I actually felt sorry for him. And then he went and fed Ronnie that lie and ugh back to square one. No doubt his time will be up soon aswell though. Jack is back so Vincent wont be needed just Like Charlie was axed as soon as he served a purpose

I don't think he's evil at all. His mother is clearly pulling his strings and he has recently tried repeatedly to end the feud, only for other people to reignite it and force him to react (Phil taking Pearl, Ronnie having somebody taken to the crusher).

I think Vincent is the only one in this whole storyline so far who has shown any sort of real compassion. I don't think he's evil at all...I think he's an idiot who tends to trust the wrong people (his mother has clearly been brainwashing him into being her hired goon since he was a kid) and is always one step behind, but I think ultimately he's a decent person who has no idea how to get off this ride he's stuck on.
I find him a very interesting character...I really did worry that they'd ruined him with making him the police informant, but I'm back to being intrigued by him. I'll be interested to see if any of his foster brothers show to see if Claudette has worked them over mentally as well or if it was only Vincent who got it. |

That lie actually showed he isn`t all bad. he knew how much that would of messed ronnie up so for me he did the right thing also he wants to put an end to the feud.
