Did you Trina hit treble eighteen when her second dart was just about to fall out the board

Agreed.
Did anybody see Glen getting interviewed backstage after the match. The poor bloke was inconsolable and looked ready to break down. Said it would take longer to get over this defeat than the Wolfie defeat. Kudos to Scott though, twice now he's shown real bottle and hung in there. |

Glad you agree, some of the wooooooooooooaaaaaaa when trying for his doubles was awful
The bottom line is that Durrant just lost focus whereas Scottie just kept growing in confidence. |

This match is so bad that it's intriguing, in a how much worse can they possibly get sort of way.

Scott Mitchell seems to play better when he is one set away from losing the match

It's because of the ad breaks on BT Sport. BBC doesn't have ads so they just have the 1 break.

Scottys tournament to lose now you'd imagine. Though I think the dutch Dirk Kuyt lookalike Veenstra looked good last night could well beat Scotty dog tonight.
![]() Scotty Dog had been riding his luck all week, isn't quite in the form to win it this year. |

The ladies' final I think is usually just shown as part of the highlights, but of course that means it should be live on BT.

You do wonder how good Scott Waites could have been had he gone full time ? He has shown he has the game and the bottle for the big stage just lacks the interest for it as a career.

Hughes is obviously a good player to be number 4 seed but this week I've only see him play what I'd call decent darts in 1 game the one yesterday against Harms.
This is where the guys in the BDO struggle as they play a lot less on the big stage than the PDC ones, I'd imagine the top 16 in the PDC play 20-40+ times a year on the big stage different kettle of fish playing up there than it is on the floor. Scotty is a proven stage player at both PDC and BDO level, can't see him not winning the title now tbh. |
