It's looking like a 7-0 or 7-1 already

Best player this week possibly though although naturally not in the strongest competition the BDO has ever seen, in fact one of the weakest.

Scotty 3-0 up. Surely Smith won't be embarrassed 7-0 will he?

Put your Bollywood jacket back on Bobby.

Best I've seen Waites play all week.

Tony Green getting three sets between ad breaks. He'll probably hang up his mic after this I reckon

Looks like a whitewash is on the cards.

Another whitewash on the cards here. Waites playing perfect darts.

As much as I like it when an Englishman wins, theres nowt more boring than a one-sided match.

We haven't actually had a final whitewash since 2000 when Ted hammered Ronnie Baxter 6-0. Funnily enough the last time a Canadian was in the final we had a whitewash too, John Part beating Bobby George 6-0

You'd think a requirement of commentating on darts would be being able to calculate the check outs correctly.

Ah yeah just noticed it was 7-1 last time. So not technically a whitewash but close.

This guy is terrible. He's been making errors all week.

Weather in my area is bad, lights keep flickering, TV just turned off and Router as well.

Will be lucky to see the end of this, even at 5-0 at the moment.

Wow what a finish by Smith to take that set. It's taken long enough.

Great outshot from Jeff.

That's more like it : 161 checkout to win the set

Think Tony's a Smith fan tonight, if only to say his beloved Martin Adams lost to the eventual winner, if it happened.

Brilliant little sport darts. Ordinary people of all ages and types. Pretty much anyone can win if they have a good tournament. Really warm crowd. Great atmosphere. The competitors are really warm towards each other too.

The greatest entrance of all time is when Ann Louise Peters did the Tina Turner walk when Simply the Best was playing

This would be the comeback of all comebacks.
