Waites loves himself and sees himself as a bit of a ladies man despite piling on the pounds.
Best player this week possibly though although naturally not in the strongest competition the BDO has ever seen, in fact one of the weakest.

We haven't actually had a final whitewash since 2000 when Ted hammered Ronnie Baxter 6-0. Funnily enough the last time a Canadian was in the final we had a whitewash too, John Part beating Bobby George 6-0
You'd think a requirement of commentating on darts would be being able to calculate the check outs correctly.

This guy is terrible. He's been making errors all week.

Think Tony's a Smith fan tonight, if only to say his beloved Martin Adams lost to the eventual winner, if it happened.
Brilliant little sport darts. Ordinary people of all ages and types. Pretty much anyone can win if they have a good tournament. Really warm crowd. Great atmosphere. The competitors are really warm towards each other too.
