The person who posted it has been banned. Read into that what you will.

Chris Mason is confirmed though. To say this is the bloke who spent years slagging off the BDO and it's players (even calling the players in the system "retards"), it's amazing what a large sum of money can do to get you to sell out on your principles or change your mind.

Just ask Tony Green.

Rob Walker is hosting. I would guess that John Rawling will be one commentator, John does a lot of commentary on 4 anyway. I would predict that Dan Dawson may be one too.

John Gwynne does a lot of BDO commentary too (could be another)

Commentary by John Rawling, Jim Proudfoot and Vassos Alexander, reports from Seema Jaswal and Danny Crates, analysis by Paul Nicholson and Deta Hedman, and special features with Bobby George.

If Channel 4 have got Mason on punditry and thinking of getting Bristow in, they should relinquish the rights to someone else. Who else are they get who slags off the BDO at every opportunity? Warriner-Little?

Regardless of what channel it's on Darren, Mason is doing pundit work on an organisation that he slags off at every given opportunity. That doesn't sit right with me at all. But I guess the old addage of "money talks" is true in this case.

I must have missed all this because I don't think I have heard Mason call the BDO. Warriner-Little yes but Mason always seemed to defend the BDO and even tried to rejoin

Chris Mason loves darts.

He was at the Lakeside final in January , not working, just enjoying watching the sport.

Tweet from Tony Green: 'After nearly 60 years of calling and commentating it's time to hang up the microphone. It's been a pleasure. No matter the code, love darts.'

Bless him. Interviewed him once at the Masters and he was absolutely lovely. Very nice guy. Do feel though he should have gone a few years earlier

No Ted Hankey on the punditry this year? He was certainly better at that than actually playing the darts in the last few years.

I suspect O'Shea will be on coms when he gets knocked out first round.
