It would be good publicity for the BDO if they gave the defending womens champion a prelim spot in the mens draw the following year, Ashton would have won 2 or 3 of the mens games I've seen so far!

Haha, I'd forgotten what a nutter that Sajwani was! Poor old Rob Walker, doesn't have to put up with that when he's interviewing Shaun Murphy 😛

What the hell
Sherrock's nose looks like a dart! Anyway the woman have to play the first to 2 the men first to 3? Seems that equality is not present in the darts even so the lady's look like men

Dreadful ladies match. Can't believe Sherrock is ranked 2nd.

She has played poorly today. Don't base her talent and ranking just on this performance. She is a great player. Runner up last year and winner of many a tournament.

Bye bye Sherrock. Someone's made a pretty packet with the bookies with that result.

What a shame. Fallon is a quality player who just didn't turn up today. Don't think anyone will challenge Lisa Ashton now.

I have a feeling Tony Green may know
![]() ![]() Though to be fair most of Tonys clear memories I think are from 1994 and previous he could tell you which pair of dockers won a fitted kitchen on series 12 of bullseye but doubt he'd know who won Lakeside 2 years ago or what he'd had for breakfast that morning!

When Ted said he scraped in through the back door did he just accrue enough points through preceding events to make the prelims, or did he get far enough in a final qualifier or something?
