These days promotors will be paying for travel/entries for some players, in a return for a cut from exbos. Some take as much as 50% (Modus/MDA).
Players travel on both sides of the divide, lest we forget.

Well regardless of whether you have qualified to play overseas or not it is still your cost, even though you will get it back in winnings. So therefore you add that to your expenses for the year. Taxman will want your expenses and your income so two different columns.
