Just came across this from 2010. Has to be one of the funniest things you will ever see on stage. Never seen it before but this player was absolutly wasted on the stage.

Surprised he never fell over.

No the greatest start to the BDO this year but, in all honesty, the PDC champs had some shockers at the start too. I am sure it will get better.

Duzza still the man to beat for me but Adams playing today so we will see what form he is in.

Bit of aggro last night in the Hughes/Montgomery match. Hughes patting Ross on his head and the Scot not taking too kindly to it. No love lost there. Sky would have had a field day with that, 17 promos would have been made already

Highlight of the day for me.....Lovely Lorraine making her Lakeside entrance. And, like TC, I am grateful the highlights show shows the afternoon matches too. We are at work.

I saw the patting on the head and to be fair I think that was bang out of order.

It was very patronising but I think Ross made too much of it too. Both acted like little kids.

I caught a bit of Ted Hankey in the highlights he's a great entertainer but what a shame he has become and what an awful match.

Jeff Smith showing the form that took him to the last 4 last year. Canny player.

Like Taylor, age seems to be catching up with Wolfie. He is 60 in a few months.

Evidently one thing beating up the PDC at the Grand Slam but when it comes to the cream of the BDO it's a lot harder

Yes gets on my goat all the forums calling the BDO saying utter twaddle about its standard nobody replies when I mention about MVG and Anderson in the BDO

Because they switch? doesn't matter if they were that is pointless, look at them now because of it.

I have always wanted Wolfie to come to the PDC but he could never play like he did in the slams for the majority of it.

When abouts in the match was this? Just trying to find it on Youtube. I found the shenanigans with the board at the start

Aye, MvG winning the Winmau from the first round at the age of 17 and Anderson tearing up the IDL and WDT and winning them both (as well as Zuiderduin twice), you do realise there is more to the BDO than just Lakeside, yeah?

If you slide right to the end (45.24) you can see the head pat.

Oh, I thought your post was mocking MvG and Anderson for never "doing it" at Lakeside, like its the only big event that side of the divide. Fair enough.

Pretty dire stuff so far. Can only get better.

Not sure what Montgomery's issues were last night - well, i do if it's walk on music and the tap on the head, but it was nothing to get worked up about.

Whoops I got it wrong about lovely Lorraine, she plays tomorrow. It was Deta today.

Good win or my "Keith Deller" pick, Madars Razma. Although he will very well to get a set off Yosser let alone the match
