Kirsty and Ewan had absolutely no musicality at all between them. They could have trained from here to next week and they would still just have been doing rather stilted moves over the top of music, rather than actually dancing.
Jamelia and Peter showed that solo pop boogie-ing is not a transferable skill when it comes to partner dancing in ballroom and Latin, especially if the will to put the training time in isn't particularly there. Jamelia, to give her her dues, did seem to pick up on that and for her last couple of weeks did some of her best dances.
