http://shop.vodafone.co.uk/shop/pay-.../sku86605-grey

previously had giffgaff and o2 in a dual sim phablet 10 inch but bought this today.

got it unlocked within 20 minutes on ebay for 2.75 and is now running my o2 sim
tried the giffgaff but its not showing up ??? have ordered new giffgaff sim to try.

with 2gb ram and 16gb rom and expandable memory up to 128gb its well packed with memory.

When you say not showing up? Do you mean it shows o2 instead of giff gaff? Or it says insert sim?

I say that as Bt sims shows as Ee in this phone, and wondered if giff giff was the same in that it shows its mother network.

It does look like a very good phone for the price, but I will probably be looking at the Chinese phones when my contract is up in April (although I must admit for a bit more at round about the £200 mark (I saw there was the Huawei 7 for less than £200 the other day although it seems to have gone up again: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Honor-4G-Dual-SIM-Free-Smartphone/dp/B0144OCV72/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1451300185&sr=8-1&keywords=honor+7 )).

Mark.

I bought an Honor 7 a few weeks ago, to do some playing about with alongside a Galaxy S6. I can honestly say that it does not feel or perform like a phone that cost less than half of what I paid for the S6. I've made no secret of the fact that I really don't like the S6, but there's no other current 'flagship' out there that I'm interested in at the moment.

The UI is a bit weird, but this is offset with some genuinely useful software features that I haven't come cross on other phones. The cell reception is a million miles better than the S6, and I haven't noticed any lack of power or lag from the Honor 7 compared to the S6. I don't play games and I suspect this may be the only area where you'd notice any difference in 'raw power'.

I'd take good cell reception over raw power any day.

I'd thoroughly recommend it - it's a great phone for a remarkably good price.
