I could see an elf quite prominently in the Claudia area, specifically when Lisa Snowdon came up. Anyone know who he is? Is it a dancer?

I just now watched the show and I noticed that guy too. No idea who he is. I also noticed that both Robin and Oti looked bored and miserable while waiting for the winner to be announced. I can sort of understand Robin - knowing he didn't have a chance - but Oti's partner Tom scored a 40 just like Harry did. Maybe they knew who the winner was, since this was recorded and it might have needed more than one take for the winner announcement. Loved the carer kids part especially.

Oh and Anton given a solo with Joanne - and he also had one on the regular show even though still in the competition, also with Joanne. And he was so happy at the end when he went and picked Claudia up and swung her around. Well, that was before coming 4th in the final I guess - but I don't remember ever seeing him so happy.

I noticed that about Anton too, he has been really happy lately. I'm not his biggest fan but it's ice to see.

Yes he was there pretty much throughout. There was also a snowman as well. No clue who they were though.

He was a slovenly elf, too, chewing gum throughout.

I also noticed Anton being happy maybe that was because this year he had his overdue moment of getting someone who could put one foot infront of the other 1 in time and had someone who he could actually do something with and wasnt a disaster?

Doesn;t look like Patrick to me...he is also very short, the "elf" looks fairly tall.

Why on earth did they put in a useless contestant like Alison Hammond to spoil the symmetry of the Christmas Strictly? We had former champions happy to come back and they could still twirl and swirl with great alacrity - was blown away by Harry's moves. But Alison stuck out like a sore thumb. throughout. Poor Robin.
So next year, please BBC, proper dancers only and NO figure of fun - the show didn't need it.

Regarding Anton being happy - wasn't the Christmas show recorded during the semifinals training week? He was really happy to get so far in the main show.
