Good call for those, although I've never heard of Meghan Trainor.

I'd add:

The Clash (one of the worst vocalists ever and rubbish tunes)
The Stone Roses (except for I Wanna Be Adored)
Happy Mondays
The Proclaimers
Big Country
AC/DC
Foo Fighters
Guns & Roses
Metallica
Bon Jovi
The Rolling Stones
The Housemartins/Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott (they sound like a fire in a cow shed)
Van Morrison
Bruce Springsteen
Fleetwood Mac (not the original line-up)

Westlife

If any of those picked up a guitar, they would cry at breaking a fingernail

Apart from Bon Jovi I disagree with all of the above

Never got Keane myself and I only like one song by The Arctic Monkeys (Mardy Bum)

Agree with Coldplay. Even though I don't mind some of their songs, they are generic. I am also not very fond of their lead singer, Chris Martin and that is despite the fact that their bass guitarist, Guy Berryman comes from my hometown.

Mumford & Sons, now there's another band who I find bland.

Metallica are a big one for me. I have never been able to get into them, and I have tried many times.

I've got to say it.

The Beatles. Just not my cup of tea.

The thing with Queen is that they released pop-oriented singles, but much of their album stuff is serious, world-class rock music. It's where the myth of them being a "singles band" comes from - it's from the pop fans who find nothing they like in the albums beyond the hits.

There's a reason they're always ranked near the top in both "best pop band" polls and "best hard rock bands" polls.

Anyway... I don't usually like these negative threads but one I'd say is Kasabian... dull, "laddish" music for dull, "laddish" people.

The Beatles are listenable for me but I'm not a massive fan. The Stones were always the superior band.
