I got my iPhone screen replaced after it cracked quite badly. When the screen was cracked the screen still worked perfectly.

However, after the glass was changed the screen became sometimes unresponsive and would open things I didn't click one. Most of the time, it was borderline unusable.

When I took it back to the shop, typically, the screen was working perfectly, and he refused to do anything with it as a result. Now, it is doing what it did before, albeit not as badly, but this is just so frustrating. I really don't want a third half-hour trek to the shop - or another encounter with that unhelpful, incompetent man.

Does anyone know any tips for a dodgy iPhone screen? Please

Changing just the digitiser can be problematic, you should have rather replaced the whole LCD unit.

If you do mean they changed the whole unit (and not just the glass) it is probably with a low quality Chinese example which is probably the source of the problems. What did the repair cost?

Should have gone to Apple store for iPhone 5 or later.

to be honest I'm not sure what he replaced... It cost £55 if that helps.
