With the fact that Aliona, kristina and Ola will not be part of the next Strictly series there is already a search for new female pros behind the scenes and there are some names being tossed around.

1- Iveta Lukosiute
2-Anya Garnis
3-Elena Samodanova ( Gleb's wife)
4-Katya Jones

Joanne is already in, so three more girls are needed. have in mind that this can always change as it often happens, but these are first in line, though not necessarily in that order. it will be more of a challenge for Ivetta and Anya to be called back for obvious reasons, but they are on the list nonetheless.

What are the obvious reasons for it being more difficult for Anya & Iveta being called back. I'm obviously not in the know on this one.

I would think they should get younger dancers in if possible. Aliona is going to be sadly missed.

They were already taken out in previous years.

Who says Kristina won't be part of SCD next year?

That is her sentiment, but she may feel different next year as the new series approaches.

Aliona is in search of a family. After winning the show twice, the Christmas show and tour, I think she did the right thing. She certainly does not need it for financial reasons.

If it would get Trent back then I'd be happy if Gordana was in the mix.

I liked Trent, but there is no talk of replacing any male pros as of right now. Some good byes may be overdue.

what is your source??? very dubious as I know 2 male pros who are auditioning for the show in 2016 so they are looking at male dancers

A newspaper article mentioned her leaving, but it was in passing, as if this was well known, but I couldn't find anything to back it up. What has K said?

Tristan sounded somewhat ambivalent about returning in a Q and A on his fan site, but I might be reading more into his words than I should.

The Mirror seems to think the BBC really want Elena, but again, I can't find anything to back it up.

Neil and Katya Jones were said to be 'sure to be on' the show before too long. Sorry, can't remember who said this. Was it Tristan?

I seem to have gone off topic and talked about the male pros, too. Soz.

Neil and Kat auditioned last year but did not get on, in the meantime they have made the 'breakthrough' in their competitive career winning world latin showdance and making the international final in november - although they have choreographed a few of the group dances and took part in some and Blackpool feel maybe they will hold off SCD if offered it next season to concentrate on the competitive side as many major things clash with the show - will be interesting to see what they choose

With Aliona and Ola gone, there will be no female winning pro on the show.

Aliona in particular is a huge loss to the show.

Elena helped Gleb tremendously with choreography this year, she could be in next year.

Katya Jones and her husband Neil Jones choreographed 2 group dances for Strictly this series, She could easily be asked, what she decides is a complete different matter, the thread is about those being considered by Strictly, not what the dancers in question response would be.

I think they're always on the look out for new pros whether they need to or not. They've shown in the past they're not afraid to kick out some of the existing cast to make room for newbies. Harsh I know.

This year is much more predictable though because of the Aliona. Ola and likely Kristina leaving the show, the next logical question is who would replace them?

... but you still haven't answered the question. What is the source for your info concerning the male pro's (which looks to be incorrect now given Bendy's info) and also for Kristina's "sentiment"?

I don't think I will miss Ola. And if Kristina doesn't come back, though she is very capable, I probably won't miss her either.
But I will desperately miss Aliona.

I liked Anya but didn't make much impact personality wise.
I would prefer Iveta, because she is bonkers in a good way.
And the idea of Glebs wife is somehow really appealing: will she look to the camera like Gleb? Will she be bonkers too? Elena's specials?

I hadn't even realised that there'd be no female winner left! If Kristina also goes, that feels like a big chunk of the old guard moving on.

I think it was Tristan who said we were bound to see Neil and Katya sooner rather than later.

That question will never be answered. You can take what I say with a grain of salt or not believe it at all, it is up to you.

I said there was no talk of a new male name "FOR NOW" if Bendy's information sounds correct to you, then go with it.

Sorry, but as has been said before, no pro dancer gets "kicked out" of the show. Their contract is the same as any other temporary job - for the one season. There is never any guarantee any pro dancer will be offered a further contract for the following season.

Kristina is widely expected to be taking part in the next series of Celebrity Big Brother, starting next week. If she turns up on that I dont think she'll be back on Strictly. Just a hunch Ive got, but James Jordan was dropped after appearing on CBB (and making a massive pillock of himself in the process).

I had a feeling Elena would join the show, she and Gleb are a very ambitious couple. I can imagine them both plastered all over OK Magazine or similar.

Kaecee, I agree with you that legally no pro is kicked out of the show, but the fact that they are not called back for a new series means they are not wanted.
