Not sure I'm keen on the idea of Mrs Gleb joining the team, and the thought that she helped him with choreography isn't helping to change that as I don't think that style really suits the show. I was half expecting Gleb to not return - time will tell!

Gleb definitely wants to return. He even changed his Twitter to say that he's a Strictly Pro now, it didnt say that the other week. He sucks up to the other pros a lot as well, I think if they will have him back he'll do it. And why wouldnt they really? He's good for the show. Someone needs to wind up Len Goodman

There are a lot of moving parts on Strictly, things change as the time moves closer to the actual hiring of pros, also personal decisions are impossible to predict.

The names mentioned are the ones likely to be the ones as of today. Things will become clearer as we move closer to the next series, but it is a long time to wait.

Its a known fact that they will be looking for at least two new female pro's. I dont see any harm speculating on who they may be.

If they have 15 celebs and they continue their pattern of alternating 8 men one series and 8 women the next - then it will be time to take away a male pro slot.

However, there were reports that they had trouble finding male celebrities for 2015 and if that's true, maybe that's why they settled for Anthony Ogogo who was basically broken - and Iwan, who didn't have any time for training.

In the US, for years it seemed, they always had one more male celebrity in the lineup than female, so I don't see any real reason why they need to keep alternating - if it's easier to find women celebs, just have one more every time.

Bit of a pointless guessing game, this no one really knows, even TPTB at this point. Rather hoping that they break with tradition and invite dropped dancers back, as they do with DWTS. Only Aliona has ever been brought back, due to the injury to Natalie Lowe and if Natalie hadn’t been injured Aliona would almost certainly never have been seen again on Strictly.

If they do bring back dancers Iveta and Anya would be top of my shopping list, if they want to return. I do get a bit fed up with people saying that Anya has no personality, the pros are hired as DANCERS/TEACHERS not comedians or all round entertainers. Anya’s characterisations during her dances were excellent. Hope they give Joanne a chance with a contender ; she couldn’t do much with Scott.

Nicole Cutler was brought back as well - was in series 2, missed series 3 returned for series 4 and 5.

Of course Anya has personality, but she is not memorable for a TV program. I very much doubt that the regular strictly fan/watcher will have any memory of her. Which in principle would make for the perfect pro as it should be the celeb the "star" not the pro.
Unfortunately, I do think that the Strictly producers like the pros to have more "presence".

We don't know yet. The lineup is usually revealed in Spring/Summer. All we know is that Ola and Aliona have quit (and most likely Kristina)

I am nitpicking I know but not quite the same as any other temporary job, as employees with temporary contracts have at least some protection. I think the dancers are self employed?

With Ola and Aliona definitely not back, I wonder if they will try to make it easy for Kristina to stay. and there was talked about Natalie leaving (her choice), But I really think they will try for her to stay. 4 really stablished female pros leaving one year would be too much. Unless they go down a completely reshuffle!

To be honest Gleb isn't remembered for his personality and I myself remember Anya for similar reasons (choreography of course!).

Especially after she won the Christmas special.
