Don't care about the rest of the show, I'm quite happy to watch when Laura (the Maitre d’ ) is on there. She is just amazingly gorgeous!!!!!

It's a "class" issue .....

Aby thinks she's got "class"

I know Laura has .....

How she kept her cool the other night, when that silly little girl Abi was taking the p**s and sarcastically shouting " Good morning, thankyou for coming into the kitchen" right in her face, I'll never know.

Main reason I suppose she kept her cool is the fact that she's a professional, and once the show's over she'll go back to her well paid job in some high class restaurant, instead of vanishing into obscurity like another silly little attention seeking wannabee.

Shame Laura didn't slap that smug look off the silly girls face.............now that would've been great TV

To be honest I dont like Laura much either, she's still a bit up herself. But Aby just blows her away for sheer idiocy.

Aah, but I miss the French guy from the first series, what was his name?...

I loved it when they did a montage of his best moments at the end of the series, bet that won't be happening with Laura.

Tom Aikens is my absolute favourite restaurant of all time. I was a little surprised to see how good-loking Laura is. Tom is a very nice guy but not in the same league as Laura looks wise. So often, couples match on the "handsome" scale.

She's really stunning looking........and that from another female is praise indeed.

She is indeed stunning and she held her own brilliantly with Gary Rhodes last night on the live streaming when he was attempting to justify having closed down the kitchen and left half the customers hungry.

In the little coverage of HK I've seen this week I have gained an appreciation of the role of a professional maitre d' from Laura whereas before I just thought they were stuck up waiters / waitresses.

Agreed. I'm still watching HK despite getting pretty tired of the series. When I actually sat and wondered about why, I realised it was all down to hoping to catch a fleeting glimpse of Laura

Laura IS stunning and what's more, seems to be a NATURAL blonde

She's wonderfully cool and composed whilst BOTH chefs are losing it.

I think there's some sort of presenting role for her after this if she wants it.

Laura isn't sexy though. She is a looker 'cept when her sneering pulls her nose a little into her chin. A minor fault but fault nonetheless

Is this the same Laura that GR politely reminded that "some things are best kept unsaid"?

And the same Laura that prevented JC from speaking to one of the other waitresses because he refused to speak to her?

I wonder how Gordon Ramsay would have reacted if Jean-Phillipe had done something similar?

lol

I'd shag her but I'd have to tape her mouth shut first.

I think that's because she's either part or full Finnish, aparently her maiden name was/is (as she's seperated) Vanninen.

She's definitely a natural blonde as her eyebrows are the same blonde colour as her hair and she has that very pale skin colour.

Thinking about it more I guess the reason she 'rings my bell' as it were is I had a very similar looking girlfriend a long time ago and she was that complete natural blonde, there ain't too many of 'em around
