Cats and moving house

Hi there

Long story but have 2 cats. 1 nervous and quiet. Other vocal. We were due to move from London to Milton Keynes before Christmas but this was postponed. Cats are bad travellers so we moved them up to MK just before Christmas to our parents so the move up was done and they would not be affected by all the hassle on the moving day. However one cat is barely coming out and has pooped on the carpet. The other is just howling at night even with us there over Xmas. Both are used to going outside.

To add to this we have just found out that our move is further delayed for a few more weeks. Things aren't good at my parents with the cats with us there or without. Any suggestions? We are now wondering if we should take them back to their home until we move at the end of January which is a further stress.

Take them back to your old place until you move properly - then you can introduce them to the new outside bit by bit.

Don't forget, where they are now, they're not only in an alien environment, but also without you. No wonder they're stressed.
