Can anyone on the forum recommend a reliable company for replacing a screen on an iPhone 4s? Apple suggest trading it in for a 5s, as apparently the screens are very hard to change on these. Thanks.

What Apple have said is rubbish. They want to sell you a 5s.

Where do you live?

The screen replacement in the 4 and 4s is a bitch of a job, they are actually right about that, unlike the newer phones you disassemble from the back so it's a pretty complex tear down to get the screen out with a lot of very small screws that have to go back into the same places (it's not easy when they are 1.2, 1.5 and 1.7mm lengths).

It's one phone I would always pay to have someone else work on, don't go for the absolute bargain end of the market unless you check they aren't using a very cheap Chinese aftermarket screen (some have pretty poor QC).
