I can't believe they even print this stuff. Given the source I think there's more chance of a giant rat or a black-eyed ghost child appearing on the show.

Pierce Brosnan would be more likely to do it, although he'd probably opt for DWTS over Strictly.

I think it's a nonsense, it'd destroy their perceived image. It won't happen.

Why would he do it? He would only risk making himself look like a fool or destroy the perceived persona. It's not like he needs any kind of stepping stone..........

The Samba will be shaken, not stirred. It might be hard to get a score like 007

There are reasons why A-listers don't appear on Strictly - even though I dare say some might like to. One is the money. Two is the potential to make themselves look stupid if they turn out poorly. Three is the likelihood of them having a convenient four month gap in their schedules to fit it in.

I was expecting it to say Jennie Bond, not James Bond

He could realistically be put on the

101 Celebrities to partner Aliona...

thread.

She'd be no good. She's "a Royal Correspondent," can't se her doing a samba in her usual long dress.

Apparently she's agreed to do it twice, but then been dropped because she didn't fit the cast; I'm expecting her anytime in the next two series.

Perhaps that's the story that the Daily Star picked up on ...... but stupidly heard or saw the name "Jennie Bond" and assumed that they were talking about James Bond .....

Yeah!

But doing her "day job," observing the comings and goings of Royalty, it was always long dresses. Although I do recall reading that once when introduced to the Queen, it was reported that she had never heard of her.

Me either, she used to wear a skirt suit or a knee length dress from what I remember,

Maybe it was a throwaway line posted tongue-in-cheek.

Just a thought ..........

This is the only time I'll ever be able to honestly do one of those 'I know someone who empties the bin for X' posts. I did use to know someone who lived next door to Daniel Craig's nan. Does this make me an authority? BackstageDervlatheDog or summat

I'm talking about events where the Royals "dressed up," and Jennie was standing outside one of the ropes on either side of the red carpet.
To me she always came across a bit "royal" herself.

Agreed - he'd never do it in a million years not when Max Beasley and David Tennant won't touch it with a barge pole.

Actually considering that he was in Hot Fuzz and voiced Mr Pricklepants in Toy Story 3 - I could at a stretch see Timothy Dalton doing it. He's obviously not completely adverse to sending himself up. I don't see it happening but stranger things have.

Oh there goes a flying pig. There's more chance of the pig flying and then dancing as it lands than this story coming true.
If anyone suggested it Craig would just pin them with an icy stare until they froze on the spot!

This at a very remote chance. Dalton appeared in Doctor Who too and chewed up the scenery so he doesn't mind trying different roles, but going from light/comedy acting to dancing is a big leap!
