They died in 2015
Thought it might be an idea to gather together mentions of the musicians who have passed away this year........a sort of 'In Memoriam' thread
Twinkle - had a massive hit with 'Terry' but never recaptured those heights. Her death in May this year passed largely un-noticed BB King - legendary Bluesman. Once said that being a blues singer was like being black twice. Percy Sledge - singer of When A Man Loves A Woman........one of the all-time 'smoothies' feel free to add......... |

Just found this list didnt know the drummer from Motorhead died November 2015

Chris Squire, main man from Yes.
Daevid Allen, main man from Gong. Steve Strange, main man from Visage. John Tout, keyboard player in the most successful lineup of Renaissance. Guy Le Blanc, keyboard player with Camel. Chris Rainbow, who also played with Camel and the Alan Parsons Project, as well as having a long solo career. |

I was watching the BBC News Review programme yesterday on 'celebs' who passed away this year. The majority of those mentioned were featured but not Lynn Anderson, Jimmy Dickens or Dozy, though obviously they couldn't include everyone.

^^^ I guess that we should add American Idol to the list. In 2015 it was announced that the 2016 season of the show is going to be its last one.
