Richard Fortus - Lead Guitar/Rhythm Guitar/Backing Vocals
Dave Kushner - Rhythm Guitar/Backing Vocals
Dizzy Reed - Keyboard/Backing Vocals
Frank Ferrer - Drums
Chris Pitman - Multi-instrumental
It's particularly interesting that we have 3 guitarists now, as 3 guitarists is exactly what's required in order to perform Chinese Democracy material live. I also think it's worth noting that we now have 3 members of Velvet Revolver in the band (Slash, Duff and Dave). Axl allowed Bumblefoot to perform his solo material during GNR's Las Vegas residency so I assume that means we'll be getting one or 2 VR songs slipped in the set as a tribute to that band and Scott Weiland.
I personally don't think they'll be branding this as a reunion though, I think on Jimmy Kimmel Axl (who will be appearing with Slash on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning) will likely refer to it as the future of Guns N Roses rather than a revisit to the past.”
Gotta be careful about using these terms like "officially" - I've seen several news outlets do it and it does my head in.
OFFICIALLY these are the only reunion facts we have:
* Slash says he and Axl are on speaking terms again
* Some sort of agreement has been reached between Slash, Axl and Duff in regards to using the original and AFD logos on modern merchandise
* Jimmy Kimmel has followed Axl and Slash on Twitter
* A 'Welcome to the Jungle' teaser went out before some screenings of Star Wars
* GNR have changed their cover photo and profile picture on Facebook
* The official website now features the original GNR logo on the front page
Add it all up and it still appears 99% certain that a reunion is on the cards, but it is VERY IMPORTANT to remember that NO statement has been released by the band, or the individuals, that directly addresses the rumours. Even Axl's appearance on Jimmy Kimmel is a rumour from Rolling Stone mag - as of the time of this post, Axl's name does not appear on the official guestlist for any of his shows next week.
tl;dr version - Nothing is OFFICIAL until the band confirms it
