Not too bad considering falling ratings across all channels recently. I suppose the worst part is the share vs other January launches but not a bad figure.

I wasn't too sure about the line-up but it could end up being a decent series and add viewers through it

Not too bad, I predict around 2.3 mil tonight...

Usually drop off is around 20% so sounds likely

Not too bad despite the little mistake of revealing the cast a bit prematurely

Not too far off my own prediction for peak and the overall rating, which I am pleased about

about what you'd expect....will be interesting to see how the ratings go in the next week or so...

So around 2.2m with +1 I'm guessing.

CBB15 went from 3.3m to 2.55m launch to first HL
CBB13 went from 3.4m to 1.9m launch to first HL (but that was shown on a Saturday)
CBB11 went from 3.4m to 2.0m launch to first HL show... big drop but it recovered.

The drop is kind of similar to last year, but CBB11 had the most alarming drop considering the first HLs how didn't fall on a Saturday like CBB13s did.

Predict around 1.9 tonight, doesn't it usually dip after the first highlights show?

Quite a small plus one figure, then again the plus one figure usually is small this early on in the show

what do you predict for tonight salv*?

I predict 1.9m too.

I reckon today/tomorrow is when tension is going to be brought in.

Also your earlier comment, I agree that this early on +1 figures are quite small. As the series goes on and big rows and moments happen, more people who miss it the first time round will watch on +1. Towards the end usually we see +1 figures of around 300k. I'm pretty sure Pantsgate got like half a million on +1 for CBB9. I think there have been larger +1 ratings too.

last january one of the plus one figures was 510k(against silent witness/broadchurch), it got more than the programme that was following bb on channel 5...

Celebrity Big Brother 1.85m/8.2% (+1 193k/1.2%)

2.04m incl +1.

I thought it would be sub 2m to be honest.

Last few winter series on their 2nd HL shows:

CBB11- 2.07m
CBB13- 2.33m
CBB15- 2.55m

Isn't 2 million throughout probably reasonable though.

These other c5 shows probably get a boost when the show is on, this Miming singing show tonight will.

The majority of bb fans I doubt go anywhere near c5 when Bb isn't on

It is decent, but with the highs of the last two January series, it looks a little disappointing, but within CH5 in general it is very good.

Not great, have a feeling tonight will dip as well with the football on the other side. I predict about 1.7m for the first show and 1.5m for the second after lip sync battle....

Not much of a hook for the eviction show tonight, as it's just about obvious who will go

I can feel another panic button coming if the slide continues as the January show usually gets over 2m every day
