Straightener recommendations please
Has to tackle my nearly chin length thick (thinned down by hair dressers but still stupidly thick!) mop. I quite fancy waving it a bit as it's naturally wavy anyway (but in a bad wavy way), do a pair of straighteners need curved edges to wave? Any recommendations?
cheers |

cheers I use both the inch wide GHDs and the Karmin G3 straighteners for waves. |

I fell for the hype and bought GHD's but they were not that great, my Babyliss ones are way better.
Babyliss also do a Diamond Waves one which is a curly wand and my daughter-in-law thinks it is wonderful |

I agree with morecowbell re the curved edges and I also have a Karmin G3 but if you are in the market for a new one I'd seriously look at the Karmin Salon Series.

Curved edges do help when curling with your straighteners. No harsh crimped bends.

Remingtons always get raves, not necessarily the cheaper basic models but the 30 quid + ones. Check out reviews on Amazon, and maybe Argos. Various models are always on sale somewhere.

I use Cloud Nine straighteners, they're the best I've used so far. Everyone is different though.

Thanks everyone, I'll check out all the recommendations given. I'd never heard of Karmin before but I see they're quite well thought of!
