Only putting it here because when he was interviewed by BBC he said he told his colleagues he had a surprise for them. "When they were trying to guess what the secret was the only thing they could come up with was that I was going to be the new judge on Strictly" - "if there is going to be a new judge" he added.

I saw the interview on Breakfast TV and found the reference to Strictly and then the slight correction quite amusing. I wondered if he was just teasing though.

I like Matthew Bourne. He is very personable and was very postive about several of the celebs on Strictly and their pro partners. I'm very much of the view that the Strictly panel needs more Ballroom and Latin expertise. Matthew has a quite unconventional dance background. However if they were replacing like for like (non ballroom judge for another non ballroom) then I like his attitude and think he would be a good choice.
