Is it worth downloading W10 Mobile?
Last time I tried this back in the summer it was a buggy sluggish mess on my L640. Have things improved any or should it still be left alone?

i have a 950 and mine runs fine have not noticed any problems at all i have my phone set to get fast insider previews too, maybe the odd app crash where a relaunch solves it but ive had that on iphones and androids too so i hardly class it as a problem for me.,
ive actually enjoyed been back on windows phone and windows 10 phone to me is a big improvement over 7/8, for me so id say give it a go

I just updated my 640 a couple of days a go. I have one or two minor problems but I think its a very good op and won't be going back.

There seemed to be no way to increase the font size for the contacts info & on my old Lumia I (and many others) had to install the Big Phonebook app to kind of cure this. Thoughts appreciated. |

Yes that looks like it Ash.
The details (phone number/mail address) is in blue making it hard to easily read when small that produced pages of complaints in the Nokia forum but nothing was done in a long awaited update. I will pop into another phone shop and see what it looks like with the font at max as I am struggling with the iPhone OS myself after coming from windows. |

you go into settings > ease of access > more options > and then the top option is text scaling, obviously setting a better colour for the titles / texts etc helps too
