My year often goes full circle. Or I often call my years saucer-shaped. By that I mean they start high on New Year's Day, end high on New Year's Eve, but alas go down somewhere in the middle.

With the days feeling so different, I end up having meals on different days over Christmas & New Year. I did have Christmas dinner on Christmas Day. So, for example, I had pasta on Sunday instead of Saturday and fish cakes today - well Thursday - instead of Friday.

I hereby make an advance promise for Friday December 30th. I often have fish or chicken on Fridays. However, as Kirsty revealed on Come Dine With Me that she does not like fish, I shall not have fish on her birthday. It would be especially inappropriate this year as being her 28th (Sorry to age you by a year prematurely Kirsty in case you read this!) means I know she was born on a Friday.
