We might see Anita's argentine tango

I think if anyone was to do Argentine Tango it'd be Frankie. Jay's was a bit boring, Anita got slammed for hers and the less said about Jake's the better.

No one else on tour this year did one, did they?

Argentine Tango is a terrible dance for the tour as it's so static relative to most other dances. I don't think any of them are likely to do it.

Will they do the same dances at ever show? Would hate it if Jay did his jive only in some shows and not the one I'm going to.

Simons was electric at the FM Arena last year, and I was high up in a box.
Guess it depends on the delivery - as with all dances

Yes, the same dances.

dislike them too but sometimes they work - Carolines charleston they worked but def not for that foxtrot - they might have worked if they had stayed on the small stage in front of the band but they certainly had no place on the dance floor its just not big enough

Thanks hannah.

Hopefully some of the others will tweet which dances they are performing over the next few days, too.

I agree! This year at Blackpool the backing dancers were mostly well used.

Good to know as I have a high up seat and am a bit worried about how much of the dances I'll see.

Glad I'll definitely get to see the jive as that's pretty much the dance I'm going for, as well as to get a taste of the tour as never been before. Wish J&A were doing their tango which was a much more atmospheric and exciting dance than the insipid rumba.

Would like to see GG's Charleston as well.

unfortunately nowhere that the public can access.

One of them is close to the turning circle where you pick up the taxis - but behind a very secure gate which is guarded by security, and they dont encourage you to linger in the area and direct you to the taxi queue or the tube station.

I'm a bit disappointed to hear it's the rumba, I was really hoping it would be their tango which I loved. Lets hope the stars align again when they do the jive, it will be eagerly awaited!

Really? I'm quite liking the sound of the rumba being done on the tour, I feel as if the minimalist approach will certainly effect those who are present than most of the over blown performances on the night.. Of course I could be wrong, I absolutely adored the rumba when it was done on the show and the atmosphere while they were performing was quite something, so hopefully they could create that same atmosphere again on tour which I have no doubt they will. Plus it's a completely different feel than that jive.

Yes, I'm not a huge rumba fan, although I agree Jay's performance was certainly one of the best I've seen from a male celeb. Putting the jive to one side, Jay & Aliona's tango and Helen & Aljaz's VW were my favourites of the season. Hopefully we'll see the VW on the tour.

Confirmed dances
Jay: Jive and Rumba
Anita: Paso and American Smooth

For the other five celebrities on the tour I hope we get to see the following
Helen: Viennese Waltz & Samba or Cha Cha
Georgia: Charleston & Viennese Waltz/Samba
Frankie: Quickstep/Tango & Paso
Ainsley: Salsa & Waltz
Jake: Salsa & American Smooth

I would be very surprised if Helen and Aljaz were to perform their Samba again as it was their Halloween week dance and would involve having to re-create their mummy costumes and makeup. If they are to do a latin dance I wouldn't be surprised if it were either the Salsa or Cha Cha Cha.

Much as I'd like to see it again, the same would apply with Frankie and her tango. They'd have to paint her green every night!

Well she's doing her Tango so I wonder what they'll do - I suspect just the hat and no green paint (though that would somewhat ruin the point of using Defying Gravity), or else maybe green gloves and face paint?

Chelsee and Pasha did their jive on tour - which was Shrek themed

Pasha just wore the donkey ears I believe and ditched the intricate makeup he wore on the show

the makeup can be adapted to suit timings etc on the tour so whichever dance Helen does, whether it be her halloween samba or something else, the costume can be changed - its not set in stone!
