Just watching Punter getting run out by Gary Pratt at Trent Bridge 12 years ago as Sky show the 4th Test highlights for the umpteenth time

Also:

Peter Moores has turned down the chance of becoming Pakistan coach. Moores, the former England coach, was approached by the PCB but, after discussions, decided not to pursue the opportunity before a formal offer was made.

While tempted by the chance to return to international coaching, Moores was reluctant to commit to long periods away from his family. "I was hugely flattered to be approached," Moores told ESPNcricinfo. "And I was very tempted by such a prestigious role with an exciting team.

"But having thought about it deeply, I don't think it is the right time for me or my family. I have committed myself to a consultancy role with Nottinghamshire and I am enjoying spending time with my kids as they grow up."

Watching the IPL and just seen something really crazy

David Miller was bowled behind his pads down the leg side by Brad Hogg

The ball hit the bail and span it around but it never came off !!!

It didn't leave it's 'groove' , it just span around

Not Out

It can't spin round without leaving the groove.

That's what logic says.

I suggest you watch it

Amazing as these bails light up as well

The bail rotated (like an axle) sat in its groove:

I'd love to see Plunkett in the side, but I have a feeling he somehow doesn't fit the selectors' mould in some way. I also douby they'll leave out Moeen, but I agree that Hales will probably get the nod as the other candidates have already tried and failed.

I'll be very interested to see the batting line up, as there are 2-3 slots up for grabs with few obvious candidates, IMO.

Some decidedly dodgy bowling from Shami at the end

20 off the 17th over including the widest of 5 leg side wides and then a massive no ball of at least 2 feet

Hope the authorities are watching

Sky have been buliding up Vince like crazy so he's nailed on imo, Ballance will get the nod at 5 with Bell waiting if he fails

I'd be surprised if Ballance came back in, also if Plunkett was picked. Vince? Maybe.

Hope they like extra homework.....

The PCB has appointed Mickey Arthur as Pakistan's head coach. He fills the role vacated by Waqar Younis' resignation in April, following Pakistan's early exit from the World T20. This is Arthur's third assignment with an international side; he coached South Africa from 2005 to 2010, and Australia from 2011 to 2013. A PCB release said Arthur was expected to take over by the end of the month.

I thought Stephen Fleming's comment in his pitch-side interview with Hussey showed his suspicions. "They've dropped catches that would be taken 100% of the time, so I don't know what's going on there" or words to that effect.

Well, he is a politician now.....

Weather permitting, there's a fair chance we could win both Tests comfortably

I would imagine the limited overs stuff may be closer but I think we are strong favs for those as well
