Cant recall seeing a more brutal display of power hitting

RCB finish on 248/3

Kohli races to a 109 as well going from 50 to 100 in 13 balls !

ABV finishes on 129* off 52 balls

Watson gets a first baller

Kohli 8 x 6 and 5 x 4
ABV 12 x6 and 10 x 4

Amazing

Buttler saying this is like having Messi and Ronaldo in the same team.
incredible innings.

Virat and ABV at it again following Gayle's 49 with a rapid 111 partnership

Edit RCB chase down 183 with some ease

Kohli and de Villiers 5th 100+ partnership of the season (so far...)

yeah they made that chase look easy

a team needs a top 3 of gayle, kohli and abdv tho when jordan is one of your main bowlers

kohli split the webbing between thumb and finger when fielding and will need stitches in it and still played an innings like that

They're showing an old game on Sky at the moment from 2005 - SA v England

De viliers with hair !

Didn't know he'd been in the team for over 11 years

Lol England were more awful in the 80s than in the 90s.
guessing with Australia being even more awful than England it got glossed over.

Congrats to Sarah Taylor as she announced on Twitter she is 5 months pregnant. she would have been 3 months gone, while playing in the T20 World Cup.

With her on leave and Charlotte Edwards retiring, it will mean s major rebuild, and you could say the 2 women you associate England Cricket with are gone, Charlotte Completely, Sarah who knows.

Looking forward to having Test Cricket back tomorrow.

I'm pleased for her and glad that the personal reasons for taking time away from the sport were positive rather than the more usual negative ones. I hope it's not too cool for the test match tomorrow!

Indeed wow!!!!!! Virat just gets better and better if that is possible with beautiful shots all around the ground. I love how intense he is - he beams when things go well but looks devastated at misfields etc.

his stats in the IPL this year are a bit insane , he's averaging 86.5 after 13 matches with a s/r of 155

he's already got around 130 more runs than the previous record for a tournament and still has 3 or 4 possible games left

England should really win 9-0.
Sri Lanka are an awful team right now even Bangladesh are better than them.
The only thing going for Sri Lanka is that they have a decent bowling attack and pace bowlers.

I can't see the points system adding anything to the series

To me it just seems like trying to give meaning to the 50 over games which are increasingly becoming pointless

and I take on board Vaughan's point that England might have 3 different teams.........do you get them all together after the last T20 to hold the trophy up......

I thought the points system worked a bit better in the women's series where they only had 1 Test match..........but even so each match was a standalone event

If the points system ever becomes the main thing you can easily see a scenario where matches at the end of a series are just seen as going through the motions because the series is decided........even more so than sometimes happens now

can you imagine a 5 match 50 over series where the series winners have already been decided by points gained in the test matches

Am at work so can't access the spreads. Would guess they would be around the 350 mark

Nice of Angelo to invite us to bat. As Sir Geoffrey Boycott says win the toss and bat or think about bowling and then bat first.

I hope this will be one decision he regrets.

ball doesn't appear to be doing alot so far but pretty decent line and length from the SL seamers means a fairly sedate start with just 22 runs coming from first 13 overs
