agree a lot of is click bait.
SA winning claims are only probably because the next two test are in the highvields. At least SA don't have steyn, Philander in those pitches could have been messy. Should be even now because of injuries but then England batsman do need to score the runs. |

can never understand why in this situation common sense doesn't kick in and they agree to play an ODI
even if the teams dont have the personnel you would expect in ODIs from both these teams at least it would have more meaning than this http://www.espncricinfo.com/australi...ry/959157.html 370 off 70 overs in test match conditions? |

Turns out the Windies declines Smith's offer of a run chase.
http://www.espncricinfo.com/australi...ry/959157.html 370 off 70 overs in test match conditions? the WI felt they had nothing to gain from it as australia if they get off to a good start could just keep going for it but if they lost a couple of wickets could just shut up shop and settle for a draw so it was a no-win situation for the windies whereas if they just abandoned the test and played an ODI its get the runs or lose, in test conditions its get the runs or draw |

classy innings from KP to win the game for the stars today
well paced and great little insight into how he thinks about the game when he was interviewed just after luke wright went out , saying he wasn't worried too much if the run rate increased a little it was more important to not take any risks until the new batsman at the other end "got in" as having 2 new batsmen together would be far worse |

what was said on commentary makes alot of sense about that offer i thought

in 1994 I believe england lost in 3 days and had to play an odi to make up for it in SA.
well that what I heard from the comms. Edit can't find anything on the internet maybe it was a list A or an unofficial game. Tendulkar did make his first appearance in cricket for pakistan so anything is possible and got his first taste of cricket in t20 cricket. Doubt that would ever happen now, in the past teams would play exhibition/short games if bad weather/days got lost for the local crowd. . |

I think since the Hanse Cronje stuff, these things are not encouraged.
Another strong performance from the Black Caps overnight against Sri Lanka Chased down 142 in 10 overs with Munro smashing a 14 ball 50 ! |

just a little thing but was reminded there why i dislike brad haddin so much
end of the heat innings and they made a real mess of running and the batsman was halfway down the wicket when haddin had the ball in his hands , he stood smirking at the batsman waiting for him trying to scramble in before taking the bails off |

Don't know if the commentators picked up on it Willey did well again today as well |

They only played two home ODIs against SA in the summer of 94 but a daft 7 in 95-96. |

Its basic cricket sense. Hardly great insight. Watching the game on Saturday, never seen someone run out like this. Luckily Zampa was ok. |

Looks like Yasir Shah has been suspended for taking a banned substance. Naughty boy. Its probably one aspect he didnt want to follow his cricketing hero Warne in.

Anybody that uses the word class with KP and cricket has no idea what class is. The man is anything but classy when it comes to cricket.

This is a discussion forum, where you will come across people, who funnily enough, have a different opinion to you. Saying "do you think I care what you think" isnt helpful, actually its pretty childish.
i would say overlooking someone's ability as a cricketer and ignoring their contribution in a game of cricket based on that opinion of them as a person is whats being childish i dont know if i like the guy and at times he acts like an idiot but i am still able to separate that and judge what he does on the cricket field my opinion was very much in line with what the likes of ricky ponting, someone who i assume knows a great deal more about cricket than either of us, had to say about the innings btw |

Kevin pietersen is actually quite insightful and clearly knows a lot about cricket, doesn't really know how to express it like Atherton or Hussain do but he probably the most insightful out of the 2007-2013 england team.
Swann is awful Strauss was ok Trott actually been quite good at the verdict surprised me since England hardly asked for his opinion when he played. prior been actually good about the keeping, not that great outside talking about keeping. He actually been quite good as an analyst/pundit in the limited roles he done on it. The way Kevin pieterson thinks about the game is quite good and it takes some skill to predict what the person will be bowling and then execute it in a middle of game, where he lacks is that he can't managed people or even express is views without people hating him. He famously lost control in india because he couldn't understand why bowlers were bowing badly and why people feel homesick. Even in his playing days he gave the best demonstration and guide on how to play cricket. His ashes zone in 2013 was spot on and few others when he worked in the studio for the IPL were quite good as well. The fact he is a shit person as nothing to do with him being quite insightful about the sport. |

India dont seem to have pushed on that much
Will have to go really well to get 300 which at one time looked the minimum expectation |

got over the 300 but not sure that is quite as many as they might have hoped for considering where they were at the 30 over mark
fantastic innings by sharma tho |
