Sami Aslam looks a good player, exactly the sort of opener you'd want. Makes you wonder why on earth they persisted with that Masood for so long, who looked out of his depth.

Make that 125/7 with Woakes on a hat trick
Edit. Succesful review for Yasir How did the umpire miss that ? Huge inside edge Must be caught up in the moment

Looks like this is going to be a huge win for England with just the bowlers left

Well, has to be said we're reversing it brilliantly, never really expected this, bodes well for India getting something out of a dead pitch.

From the looks of this our bowlers could quite easily polish off Pakistan no matter what we set - 311 or 343 made no difference.
We should have more faith with our bowlers. I certainly couldn't see Pakistan getting the 311 but I wondered if we could get the ten wickets. Our bowlers have shown they could. Good on them. |

Great session for England and England sense victory as they ask for it to be extended by 20 mins
61/6 of 30 overs |

3.40 pm Session's been extended. England have asked for it, umpires said yes. We'll have 15 mins/4 overs. Amir the new bat. Three slips, gully, short leg and leg slip |

Its really odd how many posters here continually underestimate Englands chances of getting to number 1 in the world.
Thery're capable of avoiding defeat in India, possibly even winning, and within 18 months are going to be back at number 1. Its there for them. The naysayers will underestimate them but have a good of chance being proved wrong. |

Didn't watch the afternoon session as I thought it would peter out into a draw

No excuses for Pakistan to have lost this game with a 103 run first innings lead. At worst they should have got a draw.

Yeah it will have to go to a bowler, no England batsman in this test got a century.
Woakes will be worth a shout as well. |

Wonder if that dropped catch will put James Vince out of the next Test
Only a couple of days to recover if his finger is damaged |
