It says summat about the state of our batting line up when it doesn't really matter if someone goes early and / or has a had a bad decision unless it is Cook or Root.

Bad miss by Iftikar at 1st slip gives Cook a life

Could cost Pakistan a lot of runs.....

Didn't cost them many with Cook playing on

Yes. It just popped up with a few other missing clips. Looks like they have had problems with it as it is bitsy with blank interludes.

This is really why you make changes to the batting order, this really is the definition of madness.

Vince got lucky he playing this game and question mark are still there for hales and balance.
England batting quite vulnerable, although it should be said not many names pushing for inclusion but got to the point where a few players are in a last chance territory.

An attack in pakistan, so the players had a minute silence as well.

One lousy decision has led to this. The message being sent here is that cheating pays :--(

Oh well, there's still hope that Ballance, Bairstow, Moeen & Woakes can recover it after lunch..... *gulp*

Only listening to TMS and it sounds like poor shot selection. Even Boycott sticking up for Vince which surprises me as he was caught behind again

Not many overs bowled again....

Shockingly low amount. This has to be a priority for them to look at, its getting silly.

definitely not looking like a good decision to bat first now

especially with pakistan having a slightly weaker batting lineup and having arguably their best player being pushed up to open and shafiq moving to #3

Fair comment, but I think that the aim these days should be 14 overs per hour rather than 15. More reasonable

agree it was pathetic that apparently being 9 overs short at Birmingham was fine.
WI over rates have also been poor, the bowlers and fielders are so slow to bowl, WI barely wanted to bowl yesterday and the day before.

Enjoying the feature on Deadly Underwood

Still surprises me how they managed to finish the game in 1968 at the Oval

Yep. Windies in the 80s were always those sort of rates with all their quicksand. But now it's pretty standard.

Yes they do

I'd forgotten that he played until he was 42 after making his debut at 16

Really this is the reason why England should make changes to the batting order not sure what people expected differently from Hales, Vince or ballance.
Making a change is a negative move it can be a postive direction.
Really pakistan have made good changes in this series.
New opener scores runs, Sohail khan takes wickets and then Wahab bowls a brilliant spell when he comes back in the side.

Sometimes players needs a break, a kick in the backside or they just been found out mentally and a new player could score runs while the opposition don't know much about them.

At the moment pakistan know how to get Hales, Ballance and Vince out.

Another straight forward slip catch goes down giving Moeen a life

Dropped catches and wickets off no-balls could have meant we were all out by now
