England have had no luck this morning whatsoever. From here I think Pakistan are gonna win this test match with a first innings lead of 150+

was just about to post the same thing rameez raja is saying as 3rd man, looking like a very poor decision to bat first and thats even after we got very lucky that pakistan put down a couple of catches just after lunch or we might have struggled to even make 200

It's a decision that demonstrates they are still worrying about playing the spinner batting last. That mental scarring doesn't bode well for the winter tour of the cities of spin.
it was a decision made for the wrong reasons |

Why is Ali being dissed as a potential 5 when bigger concerns are Hales, Vince & Ballance who have hardly scored a run between them this summer?
ps Ali bats 3 for his county........... Find some targets worthy of criticism please & be constructive. Quote:
They take 2 overs off for an innings change

Thank you for that pearl of wisdom
I never knew that ![]() Quote:
Indeed, but can you kick a ball accidentally? Obviously you can misfield and the ball hit your foot and deflect to the boundary, but that would not be called a kick.

Ironically we may end up batting last in this test match now anyway.

England 1/3 on with the bookies.
Easy money, given England haven't lost a home test batting first since 2012. ![]()

214 lead for Pakistan it is.
Just a quick 500 from England and they're back in this. |

Cook and Hales out already. Hales ought to be dropped for the winter tours. Vince needs to do something or he'll miss out too.
Hales is a ODI player Not good enough for Tests. |

Selectors have looked but who got chosen in this series I don't they were brave enough this season. Ballance is now in his last chance saloon once again so will the door swing and close on his test career.
