I notice that they had run two before and therefore scored 6 in total. I wasn't sure if it would be given as 4 or 6 runs. I didn't know that overthrows were seen as in addition - what's the difference between this and a fielder accidentally kicking the ball over the rope, for example? , but I just know it's always been that way

At least we have 2 right handers in which should negate the rough outside leg stump
Off to the pub to watch the footie

Great piece of fielding from Wahab but shouldn't be run out trying to save a game

they probably going to draw which is way better than what most team achieve in alien conditions.
should be remembered Pakistan beat England pretty easily 2-0 last winter and are likely to draw 2-2 in England. Well deserved number 1 ranking even if it is most likely going to last for a week and probably the team will never get close to the summit again with how the fixtures are set up for Pakistan. Quote:
I know this is a biased suggestion, but I'd take Lancashire's young opening bat Hameed on the winter tour even if he doesn't play that much as the experience of those conditions will be invaluable especially as I think he will become an England regular in years to come
Proper old fashioned opening batsman that makes Cook look like Jayasuriya !! ![]() NB Hameed scored a 209 ball ton in 5 hours during yesterday's Roses match |

Wahab Riaz has been told he cant bowl for the rest of the innings
Because he ran into the danger zone on the pitch |

And they've took tea? Seems slightly brainless despite so few runs needed

Well deserved win for Pakistan.
Huge question marks in the england batting order. Hales, Vince, Ballance all under scrutiny. At the moment potential batsman are a bit thin in the county scene with many of the candidates being a punt selection or a bit early to pick them for international honours. |

Darren when did you meet Geoffrey boycott. ![]() Quote:
England need to find a top five that as a unit does better otherwise they will always be inconsistent. People then say ‘who would you pick in their place?’ I say ‘it is not my problem’. There is no point former players like me spending our spare time watching county cricket and giving opinions because nobody listens.

Hales and Vince have first class batting averages of less than 40. Why are they in the England team ?
Ali has a first class batting average of less than 40. Why would he be in the England team, top 5 ? |

agree a lot with this article.
https://www.theguardian.com/sport/bl...vince-pakistan england have gone too far in the other direction and basically don't like making changes and a lot of time it backfires on the team. you barely see england making a tactical change or change things around if someone struggling with a niggle or a bit of poor form. |

Does anybody know why England seemingly can't win in London? Its now been more than two years since they won a test at either the Oval or Lords.
