And yet the best match at last year's World Cup by far was New Zealand 152/9 defeating Australia's 151.

How is this tour specifically one too many when they are playing the same number of tours and amount of cricket as they normally do in winter? Two tours, seven tests. Same procedure as every year.
Sure you can argue the schedule is too much, but that would then apply just as much to going to India.
But if you look at the international calendar England are not any different to any other nation. Only the West Indies and Zimbabwe have one tour over winter. But the former has the heaviest spring schedule hosting England ODIs, a full Pakistan tour, then an white ball series in England all ahead of the Champions Trophy.
And given England have not been to Bangladesh since 2010 it is long overdue. They gained test status in 2000 and yet this will be only England's third tour there, and only the fifth between the two.
Teams like Bangladesh, who are much improved since England last went there, will only get better by playing different teams including ones better then them.
You say that the only reason they are playing Bangladesh is greed. But greed it the only reason they keep playing big lucrative tours of Australia and India whilst ignoring the likes of Bangladesh and even New Zealand.
You cannot keep playing the same few teams then complain about people getting bored with test cricket when there are others out there being ignored. The attitude we are much better than them and they will not earn enough money is awful.
Besides which, how can Sky tell the ECB what to do when it is an overseas tour, so they pay the hosting board for the rights. And if they were just going to throw money at a board to host England they would pick a country more attractive to U.K. audiences than Bangladesh.
It is a shame about the security situation as otherwise, as a fan, I am looking forward to that tour.
