wouldn't either but they don't really have a choice since if they really picking 3 spinners they could easily pick 4 since all 4 actually bat and 2 of them are front line batsman for their counties.
Think Stokes role might become a headache if he doesn't have a great winter with the bat since they could drop him and play an extra batsman, seam bowler or spinner.
at the moment if Stokes isn't averaging 40 with the bat this winter hard to see what he actually provides in the sub continent since his bowling won't be needed and will be batting at number 4 or 5.
3-3 or 3-4 combination is the best way to go but Woakes and Stokes are essentially fighting for the same spot though.
if Woakes does really well and they need wood extra pace and reverse swing, it is quite possible Broad or Anderson doesn't get into the team with only one spot available to them.
