South Africa flying along chasing 295 to win.

193-1 off 24 overs and that is without ABV.
one of the weakest looking aussie bowling attacks i can remember seeing

This is some innings from deKoch. Looks like SA could win with 20 overs to spare

Bit of a contrast between De Kocks opening performance and Kraigg Braithwaites of West Indies, whoever thought he was a one-day player clearly has never seen him bat.

Ms Dhoni films is out now, going to watch the film tomorrow in the local cinema in wembley.

although really wanted to watch the Azhar film since that story is more interesting but missed it think that one came out in july or something.
apparently Sachin tendulkar got a movie coming out as well, 3 biopics is a short while can't remember the last time bollywood went cricket crazy.

hopefully the film is good haven't seen a Bollywood film for a long time, not getting my hopes up though with Bollywood films generally being crap.

Surprising pitch in the India/NZ Test with the quicker bowlers dominating

Lots of variable bounce as well. Not good enough for Test cricket with the batsmen being lucky so far in avoiding injury.

Add in some awful umpiring and it's not good

Pujara just given LBW to one that would have struggled to hit another set about sums it up

They've switched the Test to the red button and are showing the ODI between SA and Aus on the main channel

Probably the right call but it makes channel hopping very tricky when you're trying to watch more than one thing at once

Not the right call for me as I think Test cricket should be given priority. Plus my red button access is dodgy!

A very poor Australia got thumped again by SA, this time by 142 runs

Pakistan scored a very large 337/5 in Sharjah

Didn't realise West Indies have never successfully chased 300+ in a ODI

MS Dhoni films actually quite decent even if it is quite long, biggest shock was finding out MS Dhoni first girlfriend had a tragic death.
Did not actually see that coming and had to actually check if it was true since it is hard to believe Dhoni kept that quiet but it looks like the girls family didn't even know she was seeing MS Dhoni in 2002 and no one really knew till now as well.

Apart from that the film didn't really show or tell much that people didn't know, if anything Dhoni himself ruined the film by making sure it was all 100 percent accurate, didn't actually have a good story or actually make you care about dhoni in the film at no point did you feel dhoni won't be a cricketer or had a low moment even the death of the girlfriend was glossed over quickly.
really would have been better if they actually showed dhoni struggling mixing work duties as a ticket officer and playing ranji trophy for Jharkand and how the death of his girlfriend affected him.
instead of them literally spending 1 hour 30 mins of him working as a ticket officer which he hated and then moaning or feeling depressed that cricket was going nowhere but all we see his him hitting sixes and fours in gulley cricket while bunking work since the railways boss gives him leave to play cricket.
that part was really poor and it must have been because of Dhoni because no director will include that in a film, considering most would do the cliche thing of the player suffering bad form, doubting himself and then suddenly getting in form to win something.

Rod Tucker not endearing himself with the India team

Turned down what looked the plumbest of lbw's and then warned Jadeja for running on the pitch when appealing

Ignoring the fact that DRS would have overturned it, surely they need to do something about over -excitable appealing

Not sure what penalties you could impose on the fielding team 'running down the pitch" when it's the last innings of the game

Not sure if it true but reports from india are saying the India vs NZ tour is cancelled after the lodha committee freezes all BCCI bank accounts after BCCI decided not to follow all the lodha committee recommendation.

Not sure what this means for the india vs England series if true.
http://indianexpress.com/article/spo...eries-3064101/

Apparently cricinfo journalist reporting it as well.
Wouldn't surprise me if this was a ploy by BCCI to get ICC involved now, although the ICC president and BCCI president don't get on anymore. BCCI taking a risk though if they playing a dirty game considering ICC could just ban BCCI and form a new body that the ICC controls and owns lol considering they have the power to ban BCCI and make a new body and BCCI literally giving ICC the permission to do it by saying the indian goverment is controlling or interfering with the cricket matter in the country.

unless of course BCCI know what they doing and found a loophole to keep control of the cricket in the country.
TBH just wish the lodha and BCCI sort the crap out quicker both sides are being annoying, some of the recommendation by lodha are weird and stupid not sure why having 3 selectors makes much of a difference to them or the country. Too much of the lodha crap is affect the cricket and really the money and time should be spent on the cricket and not petty politics.

not a great performance with the ball considering this looks to be the likely first choice attack

can give then the benefit of the doubt with this being a warmup and getting used to the conditions

A bit of a shame that there will be no Test Match Special for the One-Dayers. Was looking forward to having a listen on Friday lunchtime.

David Miller producing and South Africa look likely to get the runs and a 3-0 decisive lead

24 needed off the last 3 overs with 4 wickets left

Tough on the bowlers but I'd stop them bowling in that innings if the fielders were deliberately jumping on the wicket like it was the bowler going in to the red zone too often. Sometimes an umpire has got to do what an umpire has got to do.

I have no sympathy for the Indian players when a decision isnt given, If the players and the BCCI dont want technology, then stuff them, it must be new people in charge of BCCI these days.

I also wouldnt allow them to check for dubious catches, especially not when India are batting, accept the decision and shut up.

When the other team are batting, then check.

A few decisions given for the other country and not India, may buck there ideas up a little.

Maybe Javagal srinath was right after all that india does have 13 back to back test for the bowlers.

Ashwin, Jadeja, Shami rested for the odi with B Kumar also not included because of an injury niggle only really Umesh yadav of possible bowler in the test squad is included.

MS Dhoni (capt), Rohit Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane, Virat Kohli, Manish Pandey, Suresh Raina, Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel, Jayant Yadav, Amit Mishra, Jasprit Bumrah, Dhawal Kulkarni, Umesh Yadav, Mandeep Singh, Kedar Jadhav

only Rohit, Rahane, Kohli and Yadav are likely to play Test matches or be around the squad,
