The ECB have confirmed that their will be a Day/Night Test match at Edgbaston next August as England entertain the West Indies

If the weather is fine, it should be interesting

Not sure how late they can play if time needs to be added on though ?

Wow that surprised me I know Edgbaston wanted one, but with the ball still being an issue and the trial in india being 50-50, thought ecb were going to wait a bit longer for their first game.

Bangladesh must have some batting lineup if they dropped or can't find a place for Soumya Sarker.

few comments over the summer about james vince being a poor man's ian bell and just got out playing a very typical ian bell shot

brings duckett to the wicket for his debut

roy goes after really looking good

he's had a great year in ODIs, averaging close to 50 at a s/r of 110

bairstow out to a bit of a silly runout so early in his innings

good thing we have that batting depth, 63-3 after 12.3 overs

England struggling with bairstow run out for zero.
with Bangladesh chasing england really need to get 300+ here but will be very tough getting that in bangladesh turgid and slow decks.

be interesting to see how England go do they aim for 350 or start going for a 280 score.

impressive partnership so far from stokes and duckett, England have really improved in one day cricket in the past england will be strolling along and then struggle to get 240 in these conditions.

yeah there is no sitting back and "consolidating" for 15-20 overs in the middle if we lose a couple of early wickets, they did take 2 or 3 overs just to get in but then pressed on again

It may have been asked before, but I have not found it. Is there any highlights coverage for today's match, or others in this tour, anywhere on Freeview?

I have looked at Ch5, ITV4 and Pick but nothing there I could see.

50 for duckett on debut, not quite as explosive as stokes but he is doing what he needs to do with stokes going so well at the other end

good innings by duckett but he had just looked like he was struggling to time the ball the last 2 or 3 overs and was trying to force it a bit

hopefully a good time to get buttler to the crease

100 for stokes

important innings for stokes this, his record with the bat in ODIs has been pretty underwhelming for someone of his ability

hopefully he can do this more consistently going forward

stokes out almost immediately after getting to his 100 , hope we dont let this position slip and struggle to get up at least close to 300 now
