The newbies turned in very good performances and some of the regulars showed up too. Now can England turn it up a notch and take the series in the next one.

Some great one day moments today such as Willey shutting up the crowd with a bit of wizardry on the boundary those catches always seem improbable until its done.

Not sure what penalties you could impose on the fielding team 'running down the pitch" when it's the last innings of the game”

Take the bowler off eventually

The difference is that Ducket is there

and how is that relevant to a comparison of their batting styles ?

I know it's irrational but Kohli's comments about Pujara, and making him score quicker before he got recalled is still angering me disproportionately, Pujara is just a much better Test player than Kohli, so the wrong person is giving advice in this form.

Kohli and Rahane going well with Kohli passing 100 and still going

Kohli and Rahane putting NZ to the sword

258* added so far with both well past a 100

Cant see NZ being able to save this game as the pitch will surely deteriorate

Yes, they are looking very comfortable. They'll both be tired tonight with all their running. I don't think any other team gets as many 1s and 2s as the Indian middle order.

Jos Buttler wins the toss and invites Bangladesh to bat

Unchanged team so Johnny Bairstow is fit

1 change for Bangla with Nasir Hossain in for Moss Hossain

Whilst India march serenely on at 446/3 with Kohli on 200*, Australia are in all sorts after electing to bat at Port Elizabeth. 12/3 with Warner, Finch and Bailey all back in the hutch

Spreads calling Bangladesh runs at 258 - 268 with England to win by 3 wickets

Seems about right to me

The way Dr Bhav was talking on here Bairstow wouldn't bat until next summer. Stick to the day job Bhav

Only following this on Cricinfo as watching the England game, but I've not seen this happen before

Boult to Jadeja, no run, cuts and misses. The ball kept a touch low
Jadeja has now received a second warning, this time from Bruce Oxenford. Penalty of five runs taken off his score He ran straight down the middle of the pitch. Excellent call from the umpire. Got that spot on. Jadeja doesn't look happy, but the umpire was spot on with the call

Surely it is more fair for Jadeja not to bat again in that innings, when bowlers get warned twice the next time that bowler is finished for the innings surely the same thing should apply to the batsman.
