Never seen Buttler react like that before

No idea what was said but he wanted to go at Mahmudullah and was restrained by the umpires

England looking likely to lose at 131/7

Boult to Jadeja, no run, cuts and misses. The ball kept a touch low
Jadeja has now received a second warning, this time from Bruce Oxenford. Penalty of five runs taken off his score He ran straight down the middle of the pitch. Excellent call from the umpire. Got that spot on. Jadeja doesn't look happy, but the umpire was spot on with the call”

Is it an ICC regulation? The norm would be for 5 runs to be awarded to the bowling side

I've no idea. First time I've ever seen it happen

(I'm assuming that Jadeja was trying to 'damage' the pitch as India already had 500+ by this time and New Zealand would be looking to try and bat for 3 days to save the game)

Stokes should get fined after getting involved after the game had finished.
Buttler should get a suspension after getting angry just because he didn't like Bangladesh celebrating getting him out!

It's the players who gave him the send off who should be suspended

TMS is back today with coverage of the second women's ODI - Windies v England at 3.15pm

I believe the Windies are the current world champions so England did well to scrape home by a handful of runs in the first match on Saturday

Listening to first ODI in Bangladesh on Talksport 2 was a bit strange after decades of TMS.......adverts every couple of overs and seemingly just one commentator doing the whole match with a couple of 'experts' doing an hour to 90 minute stints.......

I'd never heard of the commentator (Andrew McKenna) but Harmy and Mike Selvey were doing the 'Co' jobs and they're both OK

England win the toss and will bowl first..

That's if the rain stops - been chucking it down for a couple of days.

Roy injured and Willey dropped so Billings and Plunkett come in.

the BCB supposedly asked england at the last minute to agree to a reserve day tomorrow, which the ECB refused saying that it wouldn't be possible to make all the changes to the itinerary, especially with all the extra security arrangements and the ODI squads and test squads swapping over

been lots of trashtalking on cricinfo by bangladeshi fans accusing england of being scared to play them

yep

they just said on commentary that the highest total that has been successfully chased by a side batting second on this pitch to win was 226

i know the game has changed alot but this is still looking like they could get a decent total if we dont bowl them out

277-6 for bangladesh

i think thats a pretty good score and we will have to bat very well to win this

Yes but they will not need to go mad at the start.

a little surprised to see billings promoted to open in Roy's absence, would have thought duckett was a more obvious option

i know he usually bats at #3 in list A for northants but does open in first class cricket
