India look doomed now. They do rely a lot on Kohli, Dhoni, Rahani and Rohit Sharma at the top of the order.

Yes, their test team is a more impressive unit and they must want to save Ashwin and Jadeja for the England tests as there isn't much rest between them.
I must have missed it at the start of the Bangladesh tour, but is Fiz (? Mustafizur - apologies if misspelled) injured? He would add a lot to their team. |

Ah just when things were picking up a stupid run out. NZ fielders are too good to take chances like that.

i know this isn't a glamour series for SKY but wondering if this is the start of the changing of the guard in their test commentary team with the likes of Key and Cork involved
Anyone fancy theBangladesh trip? Knight, Cork & Key put their hands up. Cork (hopeless) never turns down work, Key is improving, Knight is hopeless - just shut up Nick, please |

Wasn't Cork there anyway for the host broadcaster? Therefore it makes sense for Sky to use him as opposed to sending an additional man out there.

what does hales losing his spot in the test squad after choosing not to tour bangladesh have to do with morgan, given morgan didn't have a spot in the test team to lose anyway ?

Both refused to go to Bangladesh. Neither should have been picked for India, One days or tests
hales decision to not go to bangladesh has cost him his place in the test side morgan was not in the test side so his decision to not go to bangladesh is irrelevant to hales's situation as he had no place in the test side to lose i am starting to remember why i stopped engaging with you in the past ... |

i know that botham and gower probably wouldn't fancy a trip to bangladesh but at some point there will have to be a change, bumble is getting on a bit as well
knight and cork are a bit hopeless but key seems to be someone they are pushing Botham, Gower & Bumble were never going to go on a tour that involves spending virtually the whole time either at a cricket ground or holed up in the hotel under armed guard. And i don't blame them. I was pleasantly surprised to see Athers out there |

Commentary details
Dominic Cork wasn't working for Sky, he was working for the host broadcaster. Bumble tweeted that Botham, Nasser and Athers are going to India. |

especially when they rest ashwin and jadeja from ODIs so they dont have as much depth
2nd or 3rd string side, think only 2 or 3 players expected to play in test. not much media hype or public interest in India either for the series. Feels very odd for India to concentrate purely on Test cricket for a long period of time. The england vs india odi series will probably be the same considering only 3 odi games are played and then 3 t20 games. Saying that India looks a bit under cooked before the Champions trophy they probably not going to have played with their best 11 before the champions trophy. |

Actually quite surprised how low key the odi series has been.

dont know if this has been talked about in the broadcasting forum but saw a couple of adverts on BT sport last few days about their coverage of the australia-SA series that starts next month
i'm assuming they will be using the CH9 feed but not sure who they will have doing the studio bit |
