afaik they dont as the umpire missed the no-ball to begin with
Yes it must be

Just checked cricinfo and it's still showing as 2 reviews left

As an aside, I wonder if they would have checked for the no-ball if he had been given out
He was a fairway over the line

I guess we'll never know

Not sure how long it has been since a West Indies opener carried their bat either

Unfortunately, they don't play another Test for 5 months. Plenty of time for plenty of fall outs......
Already started a day before the win, Darren bravo, Carlos Braithwaite and Samuels reject central contract.

That's worrying especially as Braithwaite is the T20 (and ODI ?) Captain

Samuels needs to retire anyway

Can we expect another late TV deal to show highlights of the India tests FTV?

comedy of errors there

massive appeal for an LBW from SA

umpire gives it not out, SA review

review shows it was a no-ball which the umpire missed but the hawkeye shows it was hitting so his LBW decision was wrong too

bit of a collapse by australia here, went from 158-0 to 181-5

steyn is off with another injury to the shoulder he broke last year, not a good sign for him or SA if its anything remotely serious

South Africa may get a 1st inns lead as wickets keep falling

205/7 with some very poor batting

i was just about to post the same thing

been a weird game already, australia looked like they were cruising at 158-0 and less than 100 behind

still fancy them here tho as its going to be tough for SA with just 3 frontline bowlers for the rest of the game

australia sneak a 2 run first innings lead after losing all ten wickets for just 86 runs after being 158-0

Gutted for Dale Steyn. Great bowler, and good bloke too. I hope he can come back from this.

It's not something I watch but apparently Aggers and Vaughan have a cameo appearance as themselves in tonight's episode of Citizen Khan, 8.30 BBC1........commentating on a streaker who presumably is one of the characters in the show.......the clip is up on Twitter

You not missing much, it is a very awful show, very overrated by the BBC as well.

really not been impressed by BT's coverage of this test

first over of the day and they cut to an advert in the middle of the over

100 up for duminy, this partnership between him and elgar is starting to look like it could be decisive in the match

SA 226 ahead with still 8 wickets left

Wow, this is some turnround in Perth

From 169/0 and wondering how big a lead they were going to get to being 300 behind in the space of a day, I can't remember a quicker change of fortunes

Agree re the coverage. They don't look at ease on the couches either. Maybe it's because it's different to what we're used to

it just feels like they have tried too hard to involve their own studio and its made the coverage feel a bit disjointed

edit : think thats now 3 times today they have cut to an advert in the middle of an over

australia almost got themselves back into the game here, but need to get rid of De Kock quickly

chasing 350+ batting last is never going to be easy but SA are down to just 3 frontline bowlers and its meant to be really hot again next couple of days

Weatherzone has Perth's Temps for the next 2 days to be 25C and 23C, with only 5% chance of rain on both days, so South Africa really ought to win this now with a lead likely to be near 450+.

I know we all whinge about DRS and the reliability of it's ball tracking but I'd rather that than have so many incorrect decisions

And DRS will make a debut in Zimbabwe after some last-minute additions to the available technology. HawkEye had picked up a bevy of incorrent decisions against Zimbabwe in the first Test as well as in the New Zealand series.
"I think (the errors) have been well documented," Zimbabwe coach Heath Streak said on Saturday. "I think the DRS is good and it's fair for everyone because it can negate the element of human error. Obviously anyone can make a mistake, but the less of those that have an influence on the game, the better."
One other issue that came to the fore in the first Test was the manner in which Zimbabwe appealed to the umpires, particularly in comparison to Sri Lanka. While the hosts seemed to make little more than polite enquiries and failed to earn a single lbw in the match (Hawk-Eye showed that they should have had at least three), the Sri Lankans were vociferous with their appeals and had 10 Zimbabwean batsmen given out lbw.

South Africa well on top at the end of the 4th day

This is as poor an Australian batting side as I've seen for some time though.

First chance to use it and they forget to review within 15 seconds

It would have been overturned as well...

24.1
Mpofu to Silva, OUT, that looks pretty close, Silva has been given out lbw by umpire Fry. Or was it heading down? The opener has a word with Mendis and goes for a review. DRS debuts in Zimbabwe. The 15-second period has elapsed, and the review is shot down. Full and shapes in, Silva plays across his front pad, falls over, and is struck on the front pad in front of middle and leg, hit below the knee-roll. HawkEye shows that it was slipping down leg. Zimbabwe strike five minutes before lunch
JK Silva lbw b Mpofu 37 (73b 6x4 0x6) SR: 50.68

Nice little article about Salim Durrani an allrounder from the 1970s and a swashbuckling character too.

And another about Jamnagar where the first test starts on 9th. They love their cricket there so must bring in a good crowd for their very first test i believe.
